Hello my friends! It's time for first new preview of W3 HDRP NextGen Edition in this year. Today's preview focuses on the largely reworked village of Kaer Trolde on Skellige. You may see a lot of progress I have made over the last weeks/months, including even better quality that I managed to achieve. In addition to the new assets quality, my efforts also include making the entire game visuals more consistent and realistic. To clarify the situation, the official nextgen version of the game (PC, PS5, Xbox series S/X) has implemented HD Reworked Project 12.0 "Ultimate". HDRP Nextgen is a pc-only modification that will be released in 2023 on nexusmods. It will be the culmination of this project, to make The Witcher 3 beautiful gem for a long time. More info soon. Just downloaded the HD rework mod and replaced both the bin file and mods. However, the selection of Hulk ultra HD doesn't show in the graphics. Does anyone know what's the issue?
@HalkHogan, Please make for Witcher 2, that game needs this type of mod more that Witcher 3. Witcher 3 has beautiful graphics already but Witcher 2 has outdated textures. Witcher 2 is an overlooked gem and it has so few mods, it needs more, it deserves it. Please :(
There already is a texture pack for Witcher 2, which helps a bit. Because of the dated engine, it's not going to look "modern" even with higher resolution textures. IMO Witcher 2 looks fine for what it is, although I found its combat to be very grind-y. The story is very good though.
@Amoch, I know there is a texture pack for W2 but its AI upscaled and it only 20% increase in quality, not a big difference like this mod here. Even if the engine is dated it can support true high quality textures. For me W2 has better story, characters and better story battles than W3, I have finished W2 four times, W3 only one time because its masive and a little boring.
Anyone tried this amazing mod with the Next gen version? Like I don't get what the CDPR thinking, they released a next gen update, but most of the texture still blurry and low poly. It's like they only add RT without improving the texture
This mod is included in the next gen version , if you install it it will be buggy. Halk will release an even better version soon! In the meanwhile, i suggest you to download his 'The Witcher 3 NextGen Rocks' mod!
I hope we can see Halk's next gen textures soon because in original next gen update especially wood related textures are hurting my eyes... for example you can check this wood related texture, it completely blurry/in bad shape...

If Next Gen, remove HDRP because it's one of the integrated mods. List of unneeded mods for Next-Gen Update (already included or obsolete)

But yeah... texture has been improved in Next Gen but doesn't match the ultime quality brought by Halk.
