Ciri seems to be making many sudden economic changes. At least a year from now the weather will be nice when everyone is waiting in line for bread

For a moment, I was wondering why many of the outfit and jewelry mods in Skyrim were being used in the Witcher.......then I remembered

      "many sudden economic changes."
That means, by now, she has the backing of the many poor, but gained the hate of the most influential enemys.

@wadelycan This isn't gross negligent market speculation and mass-printing of fiat money leading eventually to hyperinflation Our founding fathers preferred real money. Thomas Jefferson said, "Paper is poverty. It is only the ghost of money, and not money itself.” Yes lots of Witcher stuff came over to Skyrim and made it more beautiful

@r131 Those with hatred from having former wealth(=influence) might want to try a revolution because their old stores of money became useless. Which may be where the story goes in a minor way

I'll see if I can find a picture of the gown I had made for my wife. In the meantime, we used to have a shop at the Bristol Ren Faire. Their court is the best in the country.

Oops - supposed to be a reply, not a new comment.

Hmm... a vendetta on hypocrites? Or just castigating the virtues of the Knighthood. What a beautiful court -- Ren gowns at their finest.

You're right on both counts Renaissance style has always fascinated me. I wonder why we decided to devolve to such boring taste in clothing for modern times

Recipe - Mix and combine; Politics, human nature, human condition, (in others words oil and water), stir in liberal amounts of Ciri, whisk briskly with Geralt's sword and apathy.......then stand back at a safe distance and watch the show Be ready to duck at any moment.

    Clever stuff, Beth

That sounds like a recipe for something quite explosive Ciri and Geralt better be standing by to put a lid on it or douse the fires

Well... where to begin! This is flowing nicely! I'm the wrong person to comment on any political reality that may exist here. In a nutshell, I tend to gravitate towards resembling a neo-luddite, minimalist, humanistic anarchist, who always seems to roll a 'chaotic good' persona! I tend to seek below the surface, cause and effect reasons for any present state of affairs. All that being said, there are a few platitudes that could be used. 'The road to Hell is paved with good intentions!' and 'No good deeds go unpunished!' However, that doesn't imply Ciri should not try to right injustice or alleviate suffering if she can! And while I lack knowledge of the social customs and realities of this realm, human nature being what it is, does give a distinct flavor to all cultures! I wish her the best of luck with this! (and waiting eagerly to see what interactions take place between them, of course!)

I tend to roll my characters somewhat chaotic good, but more along the lines of anti-heroes Unlike the masses, I don't like to scratch the surface to find a little underneath but keep digging until I hit truth and don't let politicians or media tell me what to think. You're very right. Those who have had good intentions may have either failed or had temporary success. At least they gave it their best shot. To the preservation of distinct cultures!
