About this image
I am the good pig-herd. The good pig-herd lays down his sword for the pigs. The hired hand is not the pig-herd and does not own the pigs. So when he sees a nekker coming, he abandons the pigs and runs away. Then the nekker attacks the flock and scatters it. The man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the pigs. I am the good pig-herd; I know my pigs and my pigs know me. Just as Yontek knows me and I know Yontek - and I lay down my sword for the pigs. I have other pigs that are not of this pig pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one pig-herd.
