Solution:
You must update your game. Somehow you must be missing an update and running an old version which doesn't have the June 6 Hotfix.

Solution:
1. Make sure that you don't have some Steam Workshop mod that is not compatible.
Remember: my mod is not guaranteed to be compatible with all Steam workshop mods.
To unsubscribe from mods go to Steam > Witcher 3 > Workshop > Browse > Subscribed Items

2. Make sure that you ran Script Merger after installing my mod.

3. Compatibility with other mods:

  • Witcher 3 Enhanced Edition Redux: My mod is compatible with it, but it overrides a few of the options. It removes the no softlock and distance modifiers, but everything else works. You should probably rebind your Block button to the right click and the Strong attack back to Shift.
  • Smooth Movement: You need to install the compatibility patch.

    Well, the mod is shown as installed and I can play the game, even has the menu in Mod Menu. B&S is enabled in Mod Menu, but the combat animations and styles etc, dont change at all! Geralt still doing the extra long dive. Help please!

    There are no download histories of any Combat animations mod near 2024.6.12( the date of  "modAnimation"). Also, the game can't launch after  "modAnimation" is deleted. I thought it was not about Blood and Steel but Slot Slot Slot. However, I can't find any solution in the description page and Slot Slot Slot.

    Besides, there is a mod that conflicts with Blood and Steel.

    A file named "animationSystem" located in The Witcher 3\mods\modAnimations\content\scripts\local conflicts with Blood and Steel. I tried resolving the issue by adjusting the priority settings (though it’s unlikely to work).
     
    I cant remember the name and function of the mod. The folder is named "modAnimation," but no related mod can be found in my download history. There are also no annotations in the mod files indicating its name.

      I suggest deleting the modAnimations folder and the dlcAnimations folder(if it exists). I think it's one of the E3 Combat animations mod

    Hi, I'm having an issue. I play with this mod and love it, but recently it's been broken for me. The combat animations "stick". Light attacks start the animation then stop, and heavy attacks automatically do the Rend move. 

    Uninstalling this mod fixes it with no other changes, and when re-installed the problem returns. Using latest versions of game and mod as of 8/12/24

    The idea of this mod is great, but it seems not compatible with the mod stamina based combat rebalanced version(another great mod which enhance the combat experience),

    There is a bug. When you encounter an enemy running back with a knife, Geralt will stop immediately after two to three seconds.

      You need to learn how to merge better, it doesn't always work automatically by choosing which mod to take priority. If you want you can send me each merge conflict and I will tell you which side to pick.

      you're right my merging skills need work, but i do not get this error now.
