Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me, the camera zooms out during the fight, just like in vanilla. Or maybe it doesn't work with the "Full combat rebalance" mod.

Nice work. Is it possible to get a shoulder switch function/keybind too?

All good except for the camera still zooming out while in combat. Any idea why or how to find what's conflicting with it?

Hi, rustine. Can you help me combine this mod with the 'Enhanced Mod Compilation'? Here below tbagger12121 suggested to merge the files 'player.ws' ... I tried it, but it did not work - when the game starts, it displays a message stating that 'player.ws' is clumsy.

Hi, in case you still looking for the answer, there's the main function in base_scripts > game > witchergame.ws.
Replace the file or modified it to the base mod seems to work for me. hope this helps!!

can anyone who has managed to get this to work with a ds4 controller connected please post how you did it? For me everything works but the camera doesn't change when I edit the values in the User.ini file, so it stays in the middle with the original settings, are the file paths in the read me definately correct? Because it says 'witcher 2 - Config - User.ini' when its actually 'the witcher 2 - bin - config - User.ini' thanks for any help!

Same old Witcher modding problem. Nothing is compatible with other mods since everything's on the same damn base_scripts file.

Can you give a guide on how to add this mod to our file instead maybe? I already have 2 base_script mods installed (merged them my self)

It's a bit complicated but you have to use RED's tool:

      1. Download Gibbed's Red Tools Download RED Tools here
      2. Extract the base_script.dzip file by dragging the file to the Gibbed.RED.Unpack.exe ( CREATE A BACKUP FILE FIRST). You will then see a folder with the same name.
      3. If you have microsoft word it will be much easier -
open your current player.ws (using notepad) from the unpacked folder and copy paste into word. DO the same for the player.ws in the new mod and save it as a different file name than the first. Use MS word's compare function and find what needs to be changed from the new player.ws into your current player.ws - make the change and save the player.ws

      4. Pack the folder ( dragging it to Gibbed.RED.Pack.exe )
      5. Paste the modified dzip file into CookedPC folder in The Witcher 2 directory
