There is a bug: If you get few levels, then you will get only one talent for each level. I personally was half past through level 10, when finished quest with Keiran and got level 12 in one step and only two talents.
what do i need to edit in base_scripts.dzip to get this because im using Project Mersey - The Witcher 2 Fix Pack and i want 3 talent point per level as well
I tried to merge the base_scripts.dzip of this mod with the one from the Project Mersey mod but it doesn't work, the game get stuck after the cinematic intro. Have someone been able to do it ?
I'm a bit late to reply but for future readers, the dark weapon effect is black splotches that appear all over the screen whenever you equip a dark weapon. It blocks a lot of the viewable area and is therefore annoying so this mod removes that effect.
Yeah I think I need more help, I am only just getting around to this game and anyway, so if I replace the "base_scripts.dzip" with the one from this mod, the extra talents work (+3). If I leave the original base_scripts (running multiple mods) and I just edit the cooked PC player.ws to be exactly like what I extracted from the dzip, it doesn't work.
Every mod I changed in the CookedPC works with the original "base_scripts.dzip" except this one. I noticed when I extracted the downloaded dzip, line 7383 is not changed like you mention. I tried the player.ws with and without the change to line 7383 while leaving line 4040 as is in the mod ("talents + 3") and neither works.
Steam, Enhanced Edition.
Anyway, I unpacked the dzip from this mod and tried repacking it and the stupid Gibbed Red Tools can unpack, but the pack one doesn't work (Windows 10 tells me it "cannot access this application"). The unpacker works, packer does not, like what the hell man?
Literally the only way I can get it to work is by using the base_scripts.dzip in the download, even though my CookedPC mods are identical and all the others work.
Hi This works perfectly. Even whit *3 or more, but then it must be talents + 3. This is best for those who overwrite .dzip files with other mods, because it doesn´t overwrite the other mods .dzip files

I am confused as to what is does i thought it would only give additional talent points per level and nothing else...
line 4040 change "talents + 1" to "talents + 2"
line 7383 change "level - 1" to "(level - 1) * 2"
As you can see, by the same logic you can change number of talents to any integer you want. This is all this mod does, really.
