To do this yourself for the latest version and Enhanced Edition:
Download Red Tools and extract to a hard drive that has at least 23gb or more free space. Go to your Witcher 2 directory and copy pack0.dzip to the Gibbed RED Tools directory. Drag and drop pack0.dzip on top of Gibbed.RED.Unpack.exe Wait for the file to unpack... Now go into the new folder in this directory "pack0" and find > abilities > geralt_basic.xml Open it in a text editor (Wordpad or Notepad) and find "endurance_on_block" Change both the min and max values from 0.5 to 0.0 If you want to eliminate or reduce the stamina_regen_cooldown_time, edit the line below the Block line, changing min and max from 3.0 to a lower value or 0.0. Save the file geralt_basic.xml and in your GAME directory create the folder "abilities" in the CookedPC folder. Drop the file geralt_basic.xml in the abilities folder.
You can then delete pack0.dzip and the pack0 folder from the Gibbed RED Tools directory to free up hard drive space.
Funny that you thought it's required to copy "pack0.dzip" first, you could've simply drag and drop the file onto the Unpack.exe in another explorer window, or just use command line.
Thanks a lot, I was really disappointed by the fact we cannot block like in other common "sword games". Rolling around once or twice is fine but looks irrealist after a few minutes. Plus blocking doesn't cancel all damages received, so I don't find it too unbalancing.
Gamers constantly cheat, when is the last time you faced a real monster with a real threat of death ">

No need to justify how you should play the game, especially when considering that it's your game, not theirs, so unless they bought your gaming rig, along with the game itself, they have absolutely no say whatsoever about it!
If any gamer chooses to micro-manage, and grind away 30-50 hours to power-level themselves, or self-gimp their game so it's no longer a matter of playing it, but more like logging in to a 9-to-5 work-day, then by all means, I fully support their play-style, hell, I even admire it (And used to game the same way!)however, that ends the exact same time that one dictates or pressures anyone with their choice of game-play style!
Yeah, i would also like to know it it works with the latest patch series as well, bc it sounds like it would be a bit more fun than always having to dive out of combat bc vigor is gone.
I can see how this mod could traumatize the hard-core power gamers, but for the rest of us who like to play a video game and not use it as a symbol of our entire life's struggle , this mod is a *Crom-send!

@Witcher1701
So what if its a "cheating mod" (even though it isn't). Your point?
