This was my personal reshade which I enjoyably used throughout my playthrough and I wanted to share it. :)
Sharpened textures to boost visuals, darker cozy firelit interiors, murky swamps, eerie crypts, pink ribbon sunsets, yada yada

Installation (for first timers!)

1) Download the latest Reshade from the website.

2) Launch the Reshade installation file. Click on 'Click here to select a game and manage its Reshade Installation'. Click browse and locate your witcher.exe
( inside of C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Witcher Enhanced Edition\System). ***Click Direct 3D 9.***

3) A list of a bunch of shader packages will appear. Standard effects and SweetFX is checked by default in the newest Reshade and that's fine (you don't need any of the other options and we will replace the folder in a bit). Click OK and allow it to download the files. Click OK and finish the installation.

4) Don't replace any files just yet. Launch the game. There should be a new gray overlay in the top left corner. Press the Home key to open the Reshade interface. Read or skip the tutorial. Press Home again to close the interface and close the game.
Why did we do this? This way Reshade recognizes the correct folder paths, don't worry about it.

5) Now extract all mod files into the System folder in your Witcher directory, say yes to OVERWRITE ALL FILES.
(C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Witcher Enhanced Edition\System)

6) Launch your game again. Press Home to bring up the Reshade overlay. At the top, there's a drop down menu that says DefaultPreshade, click the dropdown menu and select val.ini from that list. Press Home to close the Reshade overlay

7) Enjoy!

Feel free to add optional effects from inside the Reshade, such as Border or FilmGrain if you prefer

=======================================================

Uninstallation: Delete d3d9.dll, d3d9.log, Reshade.ini, val.ini, and reshade-shaders folder from inside witcher/system folder.
