6 Steel Swords

1. What is this?
This mod will replace 6 steel swords with new high-quality models from my upcoming Sword Overhaul. Swords included:

• Rusty sword
• Sword of the Order
• Holy sword of the Order
• Gwalhir
• G'valchir
• Ard'aenye
  

I tried to make them friendly to lore and original design with one exception - Gwalhir. I hated it's original scimitar-like look and never used it because of that (and it's one of the best swords in the game!). So I replaced it with the sword of the Witch King from Lord of the Rings. It's a cool sword, it doesn't look immersion breaking (at least for me), so now it's actually worth using ;)

UPDATE 12/23/2015:
Mod is now compatible with Scabbard mod. Grab compatibility patch in MISCELLANEOUS section.

2. Installation.
Unpack zzz_DM_Mod folder to your Witcher/Data folder. Replace files if necessary.

If you are using Scabbard Mod, download compatibility patch and extract zzz_DM_Mod and z_scabbard folders to your Witcher/Data folder. OVERWRITE CONFLICTING FILES.

3. Known bugs.
Grease effects don't show up properly on the new model. As a temporary fix you may use my Grease visuals remover mod.

4. Credits.
CD Projekt RED - mod uses some model and texture parts from The Witcher 3.

5. Compatibility.
Obviously, not compatible with other mods, which replace models for this swords.
Compatibility patch for Scabbard mod is available in MISCELLANEOUS section.
Partially not compatible with FCR - if you're using this mod with it, Sword of the Order won't have unique model and will use the one from Holy sword of the Order.

6 стальных мечей

1. Что за?
Все просто - этот мод заменяет 6 стальных мечей новыми моделями из моего грядущего большого мода. Изменяемые модели:

• Ржавый меч
• Меч Ордена
• Священный меч Ордена
• Гвихир
• Рунный сигилль из Махакама
• Ard'aenye
  

Я пытался сделать их в духе оригиналов, за одним исключением - Гвихир. Меня всегда бесил его "сабельный" дизайн, я из-за этого никогда его не использовал (а это один из лучших мечей в игре). Так что я заменил его мечом Короля-Чародея (главного Назгула) из "Властелина колец". Этот меч офигенно выглядит, не выбивается из общей стилистики игры (ИМХО, естественно), так что теперь он вполне достоин использования ;)

UPD 23.12.2015:
Мод теперь совместим со Scabbard mod. Забирайте патч в разделе MISCELLANEOUS.

2. Установка.
Распакуйте папку zzz_DM_Mod в вашу папку Witcher/Data. При необходимости замените конфликтующие файлы.

Если вы используете Scabbard mod, то скачайте патч совместимости и распакуйте папки zzz_DM_Mod и z_scabbard в вашу папку Witcher/Data. ПЕРЕЗАПИШИТЕ КОНФЛИКТУЮЩИЕ ФАЙЛЫ.

3. Известные глюки.
Визуальные эффекты от масел некорректно отображаются на новой модели. В качестве временного решения, можете использовать мой "Удалятель визуальных эффектов от масел".

4. Credits.
CD Projekt RED - мод использует модели и текстуры из "Ведьмака 3".

5. Совместимость.
Мод не совместим с другими модами, заменяющими модели этих мечей (спасибо, кэп!)
Патч для совместимости со Scabbard mod (мод, добавляющий ножны) доступен в разделе MISCELLANEOUS.
Частично не совместим с FCR - если использовать вместе, то простой Меч Ордена лишится уникальной модели и будет юзать модель Священного.
