For me, this fix does not work, even if my problem seems similar. I guess I managed to break the quest even more than this mod can fix. It's not that I can't apply the mod - I can. I managed to get the editor working, I did replace the q2101_thecase.qst file inside the Savegame, repacked and resaved it, I did copy the files (initially to Override inside Data, then reading the instructions more carefullly, it seems they need to be inside Data? - I mean "8. Take the files that are in the Override folder I've given you and put them in your The Witcher Enhanced Edition\Data folder." - nevertheless I copied them also to Data). The only two options when talking to Raymond are to ask about how it is to be a private investigator, and to leave (farewell or see you). This didn't change after applying the fix. Nothing in the quest log changed after applying the fix. I even unpacked again the file and compared with windiff, the q2101_thecase.qst inside the savegame and the one supplied with the mod - they are identical. After playing some more and resaving, they are still identical but windiff shows the modified time differs (I guess resaving applies a new time stamp). I found the corpse in the crypt - where I entered after I cleared Vincent Meis (after I met Coleman at the dike). There was no mention about any outopsy. The prisoner in the hospitals wes moved (after the attack) but I have no ideea where. I can still progress the quest with the party (I can bring the drinks, then I need to invite a friend). No extra dialogue is possible with Kalkstein, Thaler, Vivaldi, Leuvaarden except some standard lines.

I compared the bugged Q2101_thecase file (after converting to XML) with the one in the fix and the only difference is a line: <struct id="0"> <sint32 label="Type">11</sint32> <list label="Parameters"> <struct id="0"> <exostring label="P1">Hidden:coryhoax</exostring> <byte label="MarkedAsTrue">0</byte> <---- this line is missing in the FIX, is present in the bugged quest. </struct>
