I used forced version and nothing happened, then installed gameplay version and same thing. I need to wait or...? I can't buy these books from guy in Vizima, literally nothing happened after instalation
Forced version doesn't have any conflicts, have you tried? Also, you could probably also remove all of the 4 utm files from this mod, as I think they're changes for the shops, of course that's only if you don't need to buy the books from the shop.
For the life of me, I couldn't figure out why this wasn't working...
Then I realized, finally... After about an hour of fiddling... lol I have to READ the books, in my inventory. I was assuming that the knowledge was just automatically added to the journal.
Works wonderfully with GOTY version 1.5 on Win7x64.
I used the GAMEPLAY version, and it is sooooo nice (and appropriate) that Vesemir gives these books of knowledge to Geralt as a gift before parting ways.

EDIT: I did not manage to read them but I think the mod worked. There are a lot of many entries in the menu.
