About this mod

The mod corrects errors, inconsistency and imbalances with the steel and silver swords' stats. You'd be surprised how the descriptions didn't match the real statistics. Or the other way around, depends on how we look at the matter.

Changelogs
First of all, pure fixes that make sure the stats are the same as in the descriptions. I'm going to list only those that required fixing. The stats are going to be according to their descriptions. It deals mostly with the 'normal' swords in-game. A meteorite and rune swords rebalance and overhaul is in works.

Steel Swords

Spoiler:
Show
1) Illegal sword, a favourite weapon of many Salamandra members.

The description: -20% dmg, +30% Pain, Bleeding, Precise Hit
The real stats: -20% dmg, +10% Pain, Bleeding, Precise Hit, +20% Poisoning. Did you know that the poisoning stat was supposed to apply only when our opponents used the sword, which means the Salamandras? A very good idea, we could assume they use poison on their swords. But it works like that - we also have this bonus, only it is hidden.
The fixed stats: -20% dmg, +30% Pain, Bleeding, Precise Hit.  The poison bonus is removed - the sword has quite nasty effects anyway.

2) Holy sword of the Order, a weapon of higher ranked Knights of the Order.

The description: +10% dmg
The real stats: +10% dmg, +5% Attack. It's not a big deal, because the attack value isn't very important in the first game - our character has a high value from the start. But since it's not in the description, it's going to be removed.
The fixed stats: +10% Damage

3) Elven sword of Blue Mountains, the most common Scoia'tael weapon.

The description: -30% dmg, +20% Disarm, +15% Precise Hit
The real stats: -30% dmg, +5% Attack, +35% Disarm, +20% Precise Hit, armour penetration. The stats are weird by default, but let's just fix things for now. The sword also contains a hidden armour penetration bonus, but I leave it as it is.
The fixed stats: -30% dmg, +20% Disarm, +15% Precise Hit, armour penetration

4) Ceremonial sword of Deithwen, another elven sword, it's supposed to be a better version of the Blue Mountains one.

The description: -30% dmg, +60% Disarm, +30% Precise Hit
The real stats: -30% dmg, +10% Attack, +40% Disarm, +30% Precise Hit, armour penetration. Again, the stats are even more questionable (60% Disarm), the attack value is out of nowhere.
The fixed stats: -30% dmg, +60% Disarm, +30% Precise Hit, armour penetration

5) Dol Blathanna rune sword, the rarest of the elven blades in-game, and with the best stats of the three.

The description: 0% dmg, +45% Disarm, +40% Precise Hit
The real stats: -20% dmg, +10% Attack, +45% Disarm, +40% Precise Hit, armour penetration. -20% damage when it was supposed to be 0% - not nice.
The fixed stats: 0% dmg, +45% Disarm, +40% Precise Hit, armour penetration

6) Harvall, an interesting weapon, available as early as Chapter 2. Good for the middle part of the game.

The description: +30% dmg, +20% Disarm, Pain, Precise Hit
The real stats: +30% dmg, +20% Bleeding, Pain, Precise Hit. Yes, it's not a mistake. Harvall has had a wrong bonus for years.
The fixed stats: +30% dmg, +20% Disarm, Pain, Precise Hit

7) Gwalhir, a great weapon, one could say it has twice the power of Harvall...

The description: +50% dmg, +40% Disarm, Pain, Precise Hit
The real stats: +50% dmg, +40% Bleeding, Pain, Precise Hit   ...and exactly the same error.
The fixed stats: +50% dmg, +40% Disarm, Pain, Precise Hit

8) D'yaebl, an exotic weapon and a royal gift.

The description: +30% dmg, +50% Pain, +25% Disarm
The real stats: +30% dmg, +15% Attack, +50% Pain, +49% Disarm, armour penetration. The attack value and incorrect Disarm bonus.
The fixed stats: +30% dmg, +50% Pain, +25% Disarm, armour penetration

Silver swords:

Spoiler:
Show
1) Aerondight, a legendary weapon from the depths of the Murky Waters Lake.

The description: +60% dmg, +10% Attack, +50% Pain, Blinding, Incineration, Precise Hit
The real stats: +60% dmg, +10% Attack, +40% Pain, Blinding, Incineration, Precise Hit. The effects' values are actually 10% lower.
The fixed stats: +60% dmg, +10% Attack, +50% Pain, Blinding, Incineration, Precise Hit

Now the meteorite steel and rune silver swords. I'm going to tackle them in another mod, because they need a thorough rework and rebalance. For now, a fix for the silver sword from three Earth runes. If you read something was wrong with their damage calculation, unfortunately it was true. Instead of the correct calculation, it added it like e.g. 1.15 + 1.15 = 2.3. It really should've been fixed years ago, a little error in the code, but what a difference.

Three Earth runes sword - incorrect damage calculation - fixed. The knockdown value was also incorrect.

Spoiler:
Show
The description: +45% dmg, Knockdown +75%
The real stats: it could even be +245% dmg, Knockdown +30%
The fixed stats: +45% dmg, Knockdown +30% (won't show in the description).

An update: it turned out the red meteorite sword had a similar issue:

Three Red meteorites sword - incorrect calculation (1.05/1.15 + 1.2 = 2.4) - fixed

Spoiler:
Show
The description: +40% dmg, Bleeding +30%
The real stats: possibly +140% dmg, Bleeding +30%
The fixed stats: +40% dmg, Bleeding +30%
