Hello. Already about a month or two ago I began to look for tools for editing models from The Witcher 1. I collected all the necessary tools and took to learning myself on the basis of available guides.
The effect is that I can import the original Geralt character model (in a shirt), assign textures to the model, set the hierarchy of bones and body parts, and of course export the model that will be correctly loaded by Djinni Editor and the game.
So I thought that I could import character models from The Witcher 3 to The Witcher 1, which seems possible to me, but it will be very difficult due to the complicated editing process and the complexity of the character models and the animations contained therein. First, maybe I'll start with items from The Witcher 3 e.g. swords, barrels and candles, which are not so complex and are usually one model. I hope that I will be able to create something that can be called Witcher 1 Remaster.

In screenshot I am just doing the first attempts to export the head from The Witcher 3 to Djinni.
The refreshed Witcher 1 intro in 4K soon, first of three processes of video processing by artificial intelligence will take me about 3-4 days for which 2 computers will work 24/7, so it will take a while.
