I wanted to mod for my WD2, such as real cars, real personal clothes, personal houses and such mods, but I don't have enough knowledge about modding Ubisoft games. I wanted to know if you can help me so that I can make a mod. For example, tell me what are the prerequisites and where are the learning resources, because I didn't find much on the internet. If you want, you can email me. [email protected]
I would prefer a version that makes the arrows completely invisible. The route is also shown on the minimap, that's enough for me. Are you interested in doing another version? :) Would really appreciate it!
Edit: Nevermind. Did it myself, but the same texture is also used for the minimap, so it becomes invisible there as well. (Which I could have seen on your screenshot, but alas...)
Yeah, this is the reason why the arrows cannot completely be invisible, because minimap and 3d-view use the same texture. Only possibility to solve this seems to search where the 3d-view engine calls the texture and to change that call to nothing or whatever. But finding that place is beyond my capabilities and time :)
I extracted the files with WatchDogs 2 Extractor and found the file ui\textures\gps3dtexture_blue_med.xbt, changed it with Gimp and packed it with Gibbed.Disrupt
"Otherwise Ubisoft might ban you from the game. Deactivate cheat detection with following startup option: -eac_launcher" This is not true, you can't get banned, mods automatically disable anti cheat
