thats good to hear from the footage i saw on your channel it can be the perfect mod in general do you not have other people working on it with you or just yourself ?
It's not abandoned but the mod development is pretty much paused as of right now, the scope of this project is huge (it's not just an average watch dogs mod) and i want to deliver a quality and bugfree experience. This project requires a lot of planning and proper execution.
Im very puzzled about what mod pack to play with for a new playthrough, can you recommend any current good one? something that you yourself would be conteined to play with?
HeySlickThatsMe: so that the mod is perfect like at E3 2012, - you have to add the blisters to the Dermarco rather than the simple flat texture. - still in the Demarco, add the smoke at the entrance as at E3 2012. - make a nice gas station explosion as we could see. - add the sound effects of cans rolling on the ground. - improve rain. and I think we will have the perfect E3 2012 mod. take your time but if you can do that, you're the boss ^^
Hey! i wonder if you can give some info to us about 2.0? like whats going on background, how much is it done and when will it be released approximately and stuff like that.
WD Reborn 2.0 is still being worked on but hopefully soon I'll be able to release 1.5 which will fix the memory leak during loading and restructure the mod, along including latest living city version
Unfortunately 2.0 is still quite far from being polished and I want the release to feel perfect, as a lesson learned from the previous versions, it requires perfectly crafted assets with lots of testing and effort, I will take as much time as is needed
I'm having a possible issue, as I am having a sky that is literally just white at certain times, that's it. No clouds, just paper white and looks ridiculous. I'm wondering if it's something to do with the additional mods I have, as they have conflicting files.
I have PSXButtonsMod, No Intro and Resurgence Aiden, all loose files. I place all the loose files into your clearly marked "1-PUT_YOUR_OWN_MODS_HERE" folder. You're letting other mods "win" by copying them last to the working directory for the patch file build. But I see from Resurgence, for example, the "graphickit_models.lib" is a file conflict. After converting with Gibbed Disrupt, Reborn has more entries/XML files in it. If overriding with Resurgence, wouldn't this be causing a problem? Should I override Reborn files with the specific XML files from Resurgence, then convert back to a lib?
Just trying to wrap my head around modding this game. Discord modding tutorial I've seen and I'm still confused.
White sky is a bug that's going to be fixed in 2.0, it usually happens at sunrise or sunset due to the fog being too intense and not playing well enough with the sky intensity and such, it's really weird how the lighting works in this game because one thing is dependent on another, but anyway as I said it's already fixed in 2.0 although that version is not ready to release and has the lighting done from scratch with some old values copied over here and there
