This mod is designed to disable the accumulation of negative reputation in Watch Dogs 1. Actions that would typically decrease your reputation such as harming civilians or engaging in criminal activities will no longer have a negative impact. Importantly, this mod does not affect the accumulation of positive reputation, therefore, you can still enhance your standing by performing commendable actions within the game. This modification has been tested exclusively in single-player mode.

Key Features:

  • Neutralizes Negative Reputation: Actions that would traditionally lower your reputation will no longer affect your in-game standing, allowing for a more unrestricted gameplay experience.
  • Adjusted Values: The parameters that assign negative reputation have been reduced to zero, ensuring that you do not accumulate negative reputation regardless of your actions.
Installation Instructions:

  • Unpack the patch
File: Use Gibbed Tools to unpack your patch file. If you do not have this tool, you can join the Watch_Dogs Modding Discord server to obtain it: https://discord.gg/7EfhVUCJAD.
  • Integrate the Mod Files: Copy the two files provided with this mod and paste them into your unpacked patch directory at the following path: \patch\generated\databases\generic
  • Repack and Paste: Repack your patch file and place it back into the data_win64 folder within your Watch Dogs installation directory.

Important Note:

It is highly recommended to create backups of your original game files before proceeding with the installation. This precaution ensures that you can restore the game to its original state if necessary.
By implementing this mod, players can enjoy a more flexible and less restrictive gaming experience, free from the limitations of the negative reputation system.
