Significantly shrink the sweets on-screen when silence is subsequent. In other words, make Aiden eat less jelly. In normal terms, be able to see when dying.

Permissions and credits
Normally, when very close to death, an intense red vignette is applied to the screen alongside lots of solid red blood, effectively resulting in a severely reduced FOV. This can be genuinely disruptive to gameplay, making it difficult to see your surroundings, and easily causing disorientation, especially in dark areas. This discourages a more aggressive (and arguably, more fun) playstyle. It's also just really ugly.

The game already has a very obvious and disruptive audio cue when close to death, which serves much more effectively to warn you to keep your head down. As such, there's no reason to have this intense of an effect. However, removing it completely makes it harder to judge how damaged you are, if at all. This serves as a compromise by removing the most intense near-death effect, and using less intense versions for lower health.



This shouldn't conflict with anything. Except TomAnyone's Blood Overlay Removal, but that should be obvious.
