Here's a guide on how to use Nexus Mod Manager (NMM) to mod Fallout 4. It includes all you should need to do to set your game up for modding and install various mods using the Nexus Mod Manager tool.
Seems that the Nexus Mod Manager team can't be bother to fix the problems with the servers of updating the Nexus Mod Manager. Either they becoming foppish a-holes or they are becoming out of touch and out of reach of reality. I have no leading clues of what is going on. I still can download mods from this site which is still good but it seems they can't be bothered of fixing the server of the Nexus Mod and supporting the Nexus Mod Manager further more. It's good to know that someone is helping out with the Nexus Mod Manager.
That file is already in my download folder... This is interesting.
How... I don't know when the fcuk I downloaded that or why I didn't install it when I did but thanks for that post! Everything seems to be working now!! =D
Am I the only person right now (22nd July, 201 that's completely unable to download any new mods with NMM because the program can't reach the nexus server to log me in?
Side note; update version 0.65.2 and I have read every fucking fix for this under the virtual sun over the last 4 days! I have run out of things to try and just about given up on fixing it. I'm just wondering how many others are having this problem, I can't be alone!
Also. I can't start a new thread here about it and I'm not actually sure where I would put the topic. If anyone would point me there or to the existing thread on it (I know there MUST already be one on this subject!) I would be very grateful.
So how do you use Nexus mod manager in fallout 4 without the already installed mod manager that's already in the game. Like I know it's convenient to have a mod manager already in game but the mods they provide are fewer then what nexus provides and I want to use nexus instead of the builtin mod manager.
ive been having trouble with CBBE i know a lot of armor mods require CBBE. it just shows the vanilla skin. so i tried a hair mod and all the hair selections were there but they had little to no hair! this is showing me that my mods are getting into the game but arent functioning properly. ive already tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling also tried. bEnableFileSelection=1
You will need to add the following line in Fallout4Custom.ini:
[Archive] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal= please if anyone can help me with this i really want this to work.
nmm has become absolute sh!t lately. no way to tell which mods are the main mod and which ones are the small patches for it, so no way to know which one to install first. im over using nmm. is there any way to activate mods without being forced to use this absolute sh!t program?
