INTRODUCTION
In anticipation of the Siege mode from the developers, I decided to make a small and simplified horde mode. (Patch 7.2)
It is presented in the form of 3 operations of the "Last Stand" format, which consists of 5 waves of enemies. Amount of enemies and other difficulty settings depends on players number and ingame difficulty preset.
ARENAS
- Tyranids horde arena - replaces "Decapitation" operation - fight against horde of this xenos and defeat Hive Tyrant.
- Chaos horde arena - replaces "Obelisk" operation - let this heretics and demonds fall from wrath of true sons of the Emperor.
- Bosses horde arena - replaces "Exfiltration" operation - fight random bosses (every playthrough will be different) at the same time.
FEATURES
The mod works both in single and cooperative mode - it is enough only that it is installed on the host, i.e. it can also work for console players if PC player host have this mod installed.
It also works with ASTARTES MOD and 12 PLAYERS MOD, but in that case every battle brother should install all of them to play together.
There are few featurs in arena:
- Start the fight button - it appears under your spawn point, so push it to start waves.
- Left door button - use it to terminate every enemy on arena. It might help to defeat stuck enemies, or just to skip wave.
- Right door button - push the button to summon helping bots. It appears only if your team is < 3 brothers.
And in mod, in general:
NO CLASS RESTRICTION
- IT works in battle barge when every brother have this mod installed OR when host starts operation ALONE, then people who joins him could choose any class they want.
EVERY BOSS HAS HP BAR
- Appears in right top bottom of screen. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to attach boss names to them yet.
INIFINITY AMMO CRATES
- Appears in every arena no matter difficulty level. (Maybe not in same position as on picture)
HOW TO INSTALL
It is recommended to download SM2_Mod_Loader_V3 (You can find it in the WARHAMMER WORKSHOP MODDING DISCORD COMMUNITY), open it, click on "install mod" and add the archive .pak from .zip archive with the mod there in laucnher. To launch mode use "Play Modded" button.
HOW TO UNINSTALL
Just turn it of in mod launcher and delete it with "Delete selected" button.
