I had been trying to mix other mods with the "basic armor mod with cheats." I was replacing the "art" file with other armor skins. They all seemed to work, except for the right shoulder, which become a blank blue. The solution was going into "powerarmour basic upres" under sim/attributes/instances/wargear/wargear/race_marine/armour/. In "powerarmour_basic_upres there is a set of files for each piece of armor and another identically named set listed under a sub folder named copy. I'm not sure which I ended up using, but I copied them into a separate folder and once there I opened both shldr_right.attr_pc with an application that converted them into .xml. (I think I got it from the modding tools mod, and it was under SM_BAFXML)
For the correct shldr_right.attr_pc, when converted into xml the fourth row should read something like this: <Key>wargear\wargear\race_marine\armour\powerarmour_basic_upres\shldr_right</Key>
then I edited lines 27 and 32 to both read this <Data>sm_armour_basic_upres_shldrr</Data>
I saved the file and then converted it back to .attr_pc using the tool. Then I made sure to only use the set of files that the correct shldr_right.attr_pc came from. Of course, if you are attempting this, back up all the files first and then run the experiments in a new folder. If you have done this correctly, then you should be able to delete the "art" under preview and replace it with the "art" folder of an armor mod that only uses the 'art" subfolder for their mod.
default armor w/ cheats not working, i tried reinstalling over and over again but it never worked right, titus still has invisible torso and is basically a floating helmet and backpack, the weapons work fine though
Theres no need to add a neck piece since the helmet covers his neck. It seems from what you stated, you will have to reinstall my mod after clean install of the game. I downloaded my mod and installed it and didnt experience that problem. Is it just the default armour with cheats that happened to you?
After installing this mod, and playing on a Normal difficulty, when I drop the macro-cannon on the orcs after the train mission, Titus dies from the shockwave. I'm pretty sure that's not the feature of the base game.
Followed install instructions except used D drive instead of F, tried Blood angel and Default and neither work. Did I do something wrong or does mod need updating after Anniversary patch?
