this page explain how to use any font files to replace the default ones.
- Permissions and credits
1: backup your fonts file.
2: chose a font file from those on dafont, or those prepackaged in windows at "driveletter:\Windows\Fonts"
respecting the bold/light/light italic/medium denomination of your replacement
enhance the readability. but you can just copy any font 7
times and rename the 7 copy as the name outlined bellow.
the files to replace should be
FontAwesome.otf
NotoSerifCJKjp.otf
NotoSerifCJKkr.otf
NotoSerifCJKsc.otf
Alegreya-Regular.TTF
fontawesome-webfont.TTF
Narkisim.TTF
3: copy-paste-overwrite the files located at Steam\steamapps\common\War For The Overworld\WFTOGame_Data\uiresources\wftoUI\common\fonts
do notice that fonts which are distorted or double italic or quadruple
heavy will outgrow dialogue box and overlaps ingame. so if you want to
make your own replacement, you should stick to fonts file that aren't
distorted.
you can find some interesting fonts on https://www.dafont.com/fr/
NOTICE, because law circling fonts file are complicated and very similar to
laws circling NFTs. i chose not to share any fonts file. not even the
original games file. i was not able to obtain any answer from monotype,
arc media or other major fonts creators.
