Currently outdated, and will remain in such a state for quite a while. There is going to be another mod made by someone else hopefully in the near future. 
Does not work with 1.20.10 and beyond.

It seems to me that people are very happy with the addition of extra recruitable characters, so I decided to embrace this idea.
How many we will end up with as a result? The time will show!


The mod comes with Xun Yaoyao from my initial mod, and it will also contain all the characters that come after.


Xun Yaoyao (Hidden Weapon):

• She is available the moment you enter the 4th region, up to Jinglong city, she roams from Jinglong city -> Bramble > Miasma, and you can easily spot her over there.
• Her stats are slightly lower than what you see during her quest, just to offset it somewhat, she is still stronger than the other few available counterparts.
• You can invite her to your party, consult her, care for her, and love her, last few are not optional, but mandatory!
  

Lou Fuzhao (Hidden Weapon): 

• He is available in the 3rd region, he travels from Pingyang Fortress to Fancheng City.
• Who would have thought that memory loss is such a common occurrence? No human is immune, and Lou Fuzhao is no exception. He somehow found himself in a deserted region with no understanding of how he had gotten there.
• His stats aren't overly explosive, but he would manage just fine if you take good care of him, would you? Up to you to decide!

• Updated Liu Xiong again, to reflect 10/15/2023 changes.
  



• Nil Eb the Scorpionfly Envoy: is made recruitable, now she is fully functional and you can even touch her.. babies.
• Nil Eb is made into a saber user, and very strong at that. You can find her in the 4th region in Wuxian Sect, after a set of story events.
  

• Keep in mind that her stats cannot be changed retroactively, thus if you've been to this location before, then she can't be saved(you still can recruit her), so the only option is to start a new game entirely.
  

• All of the missing bundles and skills were added in this update.
• 4 Bundles that consist of White/Green/Blue/Gold that include all of the respective skill books for every quality level
• You can find these bundles in Mirage Waters, they drop from Reflections of the Unknown, good luck.
  

1.2 update:

• Added Mo Ren and Wu Sheng, and while they're non-recruitable, they are rather strong and sufficiently challenging units, were you to win against them you'd receive some sweet stuff.
  

• Mo Ren - a swordsman who travels from the Shaolin Temple -> Yanfu Town
• Wu Sheng - a fist master, travels from Liushan School -> Xungu Pass
  

• Mirage Water received drastic readjustments:
  

        - Replaced Ironclad Alligator with Reflections of the Unknown(ROTU), a new, yet oddly familiar entity. 
        - ROTU and Lin Tianhan the Soul-Reaping Swordmaster have their respawn time reduced to 30 seconds.

        1. Reflections of the Unknown drop variety of different items, such as:
        - Meridian Pills of different quality, from 50 to 500
        - Attack/Defense/Critical Rate/Evasion/HP/MP Pills of different quality
        - Emerald/Amethyst/Chicken-Blood/Lotus Stone/Field-Yellow Stone
        - All of the Tier I weapon and armor blueprints

        2. Lin Tianhan the Soul-Reaping Swordmaster:
- Has the same loot table as ROTU
        - In addition, drops The Bundle of Transcendent Knowledge and The Bundle of Ascendant Knowledge.

• The Bundle of Transcendent Knowledge consists of all of the Mythic/Red skill books in the game:
  

        - Can be received as a reward from sparring with Wu Sheng or obtained as loot from Lin Tianhan in Mirage Water with a very low chance.

• The Bundle of Ascendant Knowledge consists of all of the Epic/DarkGold skill books in the game:
  

        - Can be received as a reward from sparring with Mo Ren or obtained as loot from Lin Tianhan in Mirage Water with a very low chance.

• Companions:
  

• Chuchu from Qingmu Sect received a few visual alterations and now she finally has a profile picture and group icon of her own!
• Pei Qing The Silver Hammer - can be found at Sweetspring Village / Pingyang Fortress - depending on your MSQ progress
• Wang Daoming - Pingyang Fortress
• Crimson Condor - travels from Valley of Eagles -> Canglan Village
• Silver Condor - travels from Valley of Eagles -> Fancheng City
• Xiang Qiulong - Canglan Village, inside of the inn
• Yang Liutu - currently made recruitable, but it's unclear to me when he and where he appears or disappears exactly, test it for me if you will, reports are welcome.

Installation:
 Put Companions+_P.pak to "Wandering Sword\Wandering_Sword\Content\Paks" folder.


Uninstall:
 Make sure you remove the characters from your party before uninstalling the mod.
