Customized Reshade preset, made possible via software made by Crosire; a open source Reshade that will, in this case, sharpen up game image by adding a few different layers. Mainly contrast, sharpening, light tweaks.

There's 3 presets in this download; 3 variants of "Shades Of Grim". I couldn't decide on which looked best so I included a few with different types of contrast and sharpening. The one used in the images here are "Shades Of Grim" - which is the one I prefere, the other two are not that different but still enough different that I couldn't decide on keeping only one..

In case the Reshade download has updated to a newer version from what version i've configured the mod to work flawless with - here's a link to older and current versions of 5 series Reshade (Mediafire)Look in the requirements section on this mod-page to see what version I currently use for the reshade preset.

Update: Have added a optional preset called 'V1 in V2', where I'm trying to simulate the look/atmosphere of Vermintide: End times. I'm not quite there yet (WIP) but I'm honing in on the look.
Thanks to 'Xdiesp' in steam forums for setting me on the idea.

Installation:

Install Reshade 5.3.0 to your Vermintide 2 directory, Reshade installer will try to find your game .exe but if it doesn't appear in the list just manually set directory, example;
"steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2\binaries_dx12" (where you will find the .exe file: "vermintide2_dx12")
or
(steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2\binaries) - if you use dx11. Shader will work on any of the dx versions of the game.

Choose DirectX 10/11/12 option -> select all packages when installer ask.
Then drag the preset files you've downloaded from my page at Nexusmods to the same location as the Reshade installer

While in game let the shader start up and compile, then hit "home", skip tutorial or not, look all the way at the top left you can see a left and right arrow, hit whatever direction arrow and find the "Shades Of Grim" - preset that you like best.

Images shown was taken with max settings, 1440p and TAA on

Video showcasing the preset:
