Neural Redemption— HD texture pack for Vampire: The Masquerade – Redemption
All textures are original, so the atmosphere is preserved, upscaled to 4x resolution with neural networks, then downscaled to meet 512x512 resolution limit of the engine.
ALL(3147) of the game textures are upscaled.
Unfortunately, UI has fixed resolution and I couldn't replace it.
WARNING: Do not turn on 32bit texture depth in DISPLAY setting, it will crash the game.
INSTALLATION:
Put the "materials" and "3d" folders into your VTMR game directory.
Example folder structure >
C:\Games\Vampire The Masquerade - Redemption\materials
C:\Games\Vampire The Masquerade - Redemption\3d
There will be no original  "materials" and "3d"  in your game folder, it's not "replace" just "put in". Original folders are hidden in game archives.
COMPARISONS:
1   2   3   4   5   6   7
VERSION: v1.0, fixed all textures with alpha channel, needs full playthrough for testing.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
First, turn all graphics settings to maximum.  Or drop masquerade.ini to your game folder(If you have any weird bugs, delete masquerade.ini and set your game setting anew).
Then use dgVoodoo2 to bypass resolution limit of 1920x1080(if you have a monitor with higher resolution or for DSR), turn on 8x MSAA and x16 Anisotropic filtering.
If you have more than 3gb VRAM turn off Mipmapping for sharper textures.
Nice tutorial on how to do this on youtube Tutorial: Optimizing Vampire the Masquerade: Redemption for Modern Gaming https://youtu.be/yTzMabNVjJY
FINAL WORDS: Enjoy the game!
