I dont mind it but its just too small. Mod that would make the text bigger by just 10 or 20% would be great.

Hey, is it possible to use this mod to make all the text in game larger? My monitor is 1920x1080 but it's mounted on my wall at the end of my bed so most text is a strain for me to read. I'm familiar with editing configs with Notepad++ so I'm happy to do it myself, I'm just not sure what I should be changing.
Thanks a million in advance for any help!

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a way to make the text bigger in the config files. All I can suggest is to try and lower the game's resolution in settings.
Hopefully that will help you, sorry I couldn't be of more help

This has been an issue since day one for me.  Just this side of legally blind, the microfonts so popular amongst sighted folk are at times actually painful to decipher.

It's a shame nothing can be done about it.  Lower resolution is of little to no help, and just makes the rest of the game (whichever game that is) look like crap.  You'd figure developers would realize that not all thier customers have 20/20 vision, or that some of them might be lefties...

    Hello Blightedmods
I just have the up plus and wanted something just like this, especially if after this play thru I might like to playthru as a malkavian , ( that text is a little awkward to mark out )
I manually installed this since my only mod manager is nmm, I wont use vortex or mo2 but following the instruction was fine it works wonderfully, and I kept copy back up of original file it replaces, just in case...
    Endorsed Kudo'd tracking n Thanks

Re Edit doubt this will be read, but had to re install up patch plus 10. 7 so had to re download the file and re install only this time It wont work no matter what I do =/
I followed the instruction as before , made a back of file prior d from original patch , made a save the point of the tutorial where the guard is and colored fond is introduced and what I try it remains the same , I'm fed , I'm reinstalling the whole game on steam that wont dont do anything just flamin go with what ever..

    >_< I really need to get some sleep, it wasn't working, for because I wasn't a malk, and hadn't used the optional for all clans., now I am and it is , so just excuse the babble and strikethru...

Never had any problems reading any of the special fonts in the game, when I played at 1080p that is, now that I'm running it at 4K, this mod is a godsend! Mind you, it doesn't actually make fonts any bigger, scaling is still enough of an issue, but at least plain text only makes you strain just a teeny tiny bit, unlike the special fonts at this resolution.

    P. S. Using the optional file that gets rid of all special fonts in the game and it seems to be working just fine with the latest unoffical patch (10.7 RC3)

Brilliant. I can finally read what my Malk is saying without pressing my nose to the dang screen.

Which brings up a point; I'm just this side of legally blind. Thus far I have found no way to increase the size of the font used throughout the game (common consensus says it's an engine limitation) which is an issue for me. Would incorporating a larger font be a possibility? Would enlarging the font used throughout the game be feasable?

Would this work in the Clan Quest Mod 4.1? It does add new characters and new dialogue so I dont know if it would work.

My mod should be compatible with every mod unless theirs alters the "trackerscheme.res" file too. Mods which add new characters/quests/dialogue/etc. are unlikely to alter it as it's in a different directory. If you install both, please be sure to let me know if they play nicely together! :)

Great mod, I'd love to have that plain font for everything with colors option as well, I'm not a fan of how cumbersome the alternate fonts look all mixed together

I don't remember having too much trouble reading the Malkavian dialogue, but then again it has been years since I last picked it up, so I'm probably wrong. This is a lot better though. Still, it would be nice to have all the options in this font and also color-coded - not that the tones are that hard to tell apart, but it does contribute to the aesthetic of the game. :)

You mean changing the Intimidate/Seduction/Persuasion/etc. fonts to match the default but keeping their colour? If so, I can easily post that as an optional file.

Nice, I had more difficulty trying to read the text than to understand it as a Malkavian.

Is this future-proof for further unofficial patch updates? Like, is this basically just a toggle that will work with all dialogue regardless of the source and not a full rework of the existing dialogue? I assume it's just a fairly simple setting but better safe than sorry so I ask.

      Hope it helps! :)

It's just a simple setting, yes, but my mod will need to be updated if Wesp makes more changes to the Unofficial Patch's trackerscheme.res file in any future updates. It's not a very heavily edited file on their end either, so it might be that my mod will work for many updates to come. But if not, I will make sure this mod stays up to date so that they can continue being used together.

Ok just as I thought then, thanks for clarification! =)
