Just watched the Nvidia Ampere reveal. The head of Nvidia, Sumb Gei, said they're twice as fast as current RTX series.

And here's me, with an RTX 2070, playing a game from 2004.

    Yeah, well....... Got an RTX 2070 in anticipation of Outer Worlds on Steam - eventaully. Still a big improvement on my R9-290.

    It's nearly three years since I got my 1080ti and I still don't see any need to replace it, so few new games are worth bothering with.

      In anticipation of Cyberpunk 2077, I upgraded to RTX 2080 from 1080ti, but the release date has been delayed again.
