Hey, I'm getting this error despite having the necessary requirements for your mod to function. a little help would be appreciated. Thanks
[Info : BepInEx] Loading [Surtling Core Overclocking 1.3.1] [Error : Unity Log] FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'MMHOOK_assembly_valheim, Version=0.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. Stack trace: UnityEngine.GameObject:AddComponent(Type) BepInEx.Bootstrap.Chainloader:Start() UnityEngine.UI.Image:OnCanvasHierarchyChanged()
Thanks for updating this to the current Hildir's Request version! I did notice that the Overclock Speed Core does not show corresponding config changes in the crafting menu (the green and red values) like the other upgrades.
Is the mod working anymore? I've installed it because it sounds pretty amazing, but the items aren't showing up in game. I've installed Jotunn as it was a requirement on the Thunderstore. Is the mod outdated or something? If so, then will there be any updates for it?
Still works for me, but I'm using the Nexus version here, installed through Vortex. Also, you need to discover the required mats before they show up in the forge.
Loaded up Valheim today and it still seems to be working on the current Mistlands version(0.213.4). Again, just using the latest version(1.2.0)+JVL(2.10.4) both from here, installed through Vortex.
It seems like everyone having problems with it is using the Thunderstore version, so maybe try manually installing the one from here instead.
I added this mod via the Thunderstore mod manager, and it won't generate the .cfg file. I cannot change it's configs.
I'm currently doing an OP playthrough, and this mod would be perfect, but if it won't generate a .cfg, then there is little point. The annoying thing is, you can't make comments in the Thunderstore Mod manager such as bug reports.
Looks like it's a great mof, but it just won't work if i can't config it.
Could there be a possibility since you have created this fabulous mod, of being able to create a mod that uses the Surtling cores as fuel? is that the only fuel is the coal and everything is with coal, and it seems to me that the Surtling core could be a more powerful fuel, where this element could be implemented as fuel and from there when implementing it give acceleration bonuses...
Cool idea! I think I could add this to this mod, as an option. I have some more ideas for this mod when I come back to it, currently working on something else though.
thirded. i have about a hundred cores taking up extra space (don't explore the ashlands unless you want lots of cores) and everytime I get the surtling event, i just get more cores piled on. Anything that lets me use them up would be wonderful. I don't just want to drop them in the obliterator.
Are these progression locked I am not seeing the recipes in the forge menu current forge level 3 and the mod config shows up in the F1 menu. If this is the case it should be mentioned in the description or people will install the mod and wonder why the recipes are missing since there is no mention of progression requirements other than they are crafted in the forge
Hopefully you found your answer by now, but just in case I'll give you the items you need (aside from cores) that you'll need to unlock all three items:
You'll notice based on some of the mats that these are supposed to unlock in the Iron Age, since Guck and Chains are obtained in the Swamp, and Sharpening Stones are crafted from the Stonecutter, which is unlocked when you obtain your first Iron Bar from smelting Scrap Iron. So up until then you're going to have to deal with the vanilla rates (unless you have a smelter config mod active). Luckily, Surtling Cores are easier to obtain in the Swamp as well, as the fire pits there spawn Surtlings, which drop them fairly frequently upon defeat.
Great mod mate, but I've run into an issue I think, everytime you portal back to where your portal is it resets. Same with logging in. I''m running Valheim Plus to make it so the metals get deposited in a chest. I have to take and put back the cores for it to work again, everytime I portal away. Is it fixable? Thank you for your work!
Hi, we are able to use productivity cores on smelters so far, but when trying to use efficiency cores on kilns, we get the message "You can't use Overclock efficiency core on Charcoal kiln."
Hi, that's intended, because the Kiln has no "fuel" to use, it just converts Wood into Coal "for free" over time. You can just add more Speed cores instead :P without penalty

Our community enjoyed this mod a lot
Ty for amazing idea
The source is available, there's a link at the bottom of the description.
I just recompiled it, didn't test it much, but I think that's all it needed.
