I realise the chances I'm going to get an answer on this are slim at best, but does anyone know how to disable the floating orange particle effects? I've already disabled the awful soft cloud frost effect by adding a blank PNG to CustomTextures with the filename objecttexture_MaceSilver_wildfire01_MainTex, and the orange particles aren't present indoors but the moment I'm outdoors they appear. They even turn blue at night. It's horrific. I love the hammer model and that's all I want to see, I hate weapon particle effects in general and it's frustrating that I can't figure out how to disable this one. Any help would be appreciated!
Any way you could share with me exactly how you did this? I have tried everything and am stumped. I added a blank png file with the name you specified and still have the issue.
What size/dimension is the png file and what did you name it exactly?
This Solution is BS because all it does is the same thing as renaming the Miantex File or deleting it. The result is that the maintex file cant be loaded which leads to partial "chessboard" on the hammer. The Mesh is still loaded and the other two files also. Renaming all 3 is also BS, because it leads to only more chessboard on the hammer. The Maintex is f***ed and as long as nobody knows whats the problem it cant be fixed. It seems Dev doesnt care or is not active anymore so, either no texture, chessboard hammer or giant white rectangles....
Edit: I did some testing with different scenarios: -Copying the picture and paste to a different PNG and renaming doesnt work -Renaming a different wokring PNG e.g iron mace Maintex doesnt work -Deleting certain parts in the maintex does work slightly Conclusion: The error lies between the maintex and the fbx mesh file I guess. The effect worsen the more pixels of the maintex.png are colored (which doesnt matter). replacing the Miantex with a complete blank PNG results in no arctic effect but a pitch black hammer. Painting it all red for example makes the effect worse the more percent of the PNG are colored.
So ive got it all working properly. The naming structure jettlife21 posted works flawlessly, and adding a blank png named "objecttexture_MaceSilver_wildefire01_MainTex.png" will remove the frost cloud and another blank png named "objectrenderer_MaceSilver_vfx_BloodHit1_MainTex.png" will remove the floating orbs coming from the model. My blank png is sized at width-1913 and by highth- 512. When you hit an object there's still ice/frost effects but all the major visual issues seem sorted
I can finally do a Thor cosplay! I know it says Heimdall but this looks like a Mjolnir as well.
Also, I saw someone posted on your Bugs section about a visual glitch. I think it has to do with your filenaming, try to use objecttexture_ and see if it fixes it.
Hi, renaming the files from object_ to obecttexture did help with the oversized frosteffect, but it also decreased the texture of the hammer itself. it just looks like a much less prestine version of the hammer
i renamed all of them and it looked like a chess board objecttexture_MaceSilver_MainTex ONLY change and it looks a lot better. If you rename all of them it looks very bad. there seems to be something wrong with that mainTex
couldnt agree more. Yeah, it looks like hammer with chessboard texture if you renamed it. I really hope we can some answer from the owner how to fix this . While the one he/she posted in the picture seems like fine without texture problem.
Any chance you know how to disable the floating orange orb particle effect? I've already removed the frost cloud by adding a blank PNG with the filename objecttexture_MaceSilver_wildfire01_MainTex to the CustomTextures folder, but I can't figure out how to do the same for the orange things. I love the model of the hammer and that's all I want, no particle effects at all.

This looks impressively made, and I thank you for your work in advance either way, but could you make a version without any glowing/frost effect, for minimalists such as I? I love the hammer itself.
I really like the hammer design. I had the same issue with the frost effect. After i tried to take delete the Maintex.png it just switched back to a standard Frostner but more "glossy". But since i reinserted the Maintex.png it just stays standard Frostner. How does this come? Any ideas? Help appreciated.
Ok it was partially my own stupidity after reinstalling bepinex and co i forgot the assimp.dll in the mainfolder... had only the assimpnet.dll in plugin folder. Just the oversized frosteffect stays as it is.
I’m having the same issue. The frost particle effects are giant squares that are the size of the character :/. Have you or the mod author found a fix for this? It seems to be an issue with the ‘MainTex’ file. I’ve found that if I delete the ‘MainTex’ file the particle effects go back to normal (but the hammer is all silver).

Thanks for the HQ weapons!
The hammer looks great but the frost effect around it is just giant white squares, about torso size.

objecttexture_MaceSilver_SilverWarhammer_e_MetallicGlossMap
objecttexture_MaceSilver_SilverWarhammer_n_BumpMap
try those
