This was a great mod until the update broke it.

Hey thanks for this wonderful mod, any chance you could add a jump velocity modifier to it, or increase the jump skill cap perhaps? Run speed modifier would be great as well :D

Thanks for the mod.  The effort is very much appreciated.  Increasing the jump height is an excellent idea.  Does this mod also reduce fall damage at all?  I can see the increased jump height going terribly wrong if fall damage isn't reduced.

I can't figure out how fall damage works... there's a variable for it, but it doesn't seem to be used afaics

Understandable.  Jumping higher still helps out in numerous situations.

Hello. Where did you learn to create mods with UMM? Is there any certain place I could go to start learning how to create mods for Valheim using UMM? I've done a fair bit of research and can't really find any useful information on creating mods with UMM, nor using BepInEx. Only thing I can find is how to edit assembly with dnspy. Any help would be great!

I learned how to use UMM from modding My Time at Portia. For Valheim, since everyone is using BepInEx, I've switched my mods over to that.

To create a BepInEx plugin, you use Visual Studio. You will have to understand basic C# and you'll probably have to learn how Harmony works. You can look at the source for existing BepInEx plugins to see how they do it, it's not that difficult. But there is BepInEx documentation on GitHub.

Sweet, thank you! I'm familiar with C#, just confused with the whole UMM, BepInEx, and Harmony stuff.

Harmony is the biggest learning curve... it's powerful, but takes some understanding. You can get help on the new Valheim Modding discord server:
