Note: As of now, you might as well just download the 2k textures and save space/RAM. I cannot tell any difference between them and the 4k ones, even though the 4k textures were natively 4000x6000 resolution and the 2k ones are downscaled to 2000x3000. This is likely either because A) I do not know what I am doing, B) The game is forcing the texture to render at a certain level and not allowing textures beyond that or C) Due to the distance of the tree, the eye cant see any noticeable difference between the 2k and 4k textures. Its probably 'A' because this is my first texture mod ever, if anyone has insight though id love to hear it!

Added: 2k and Ultra Performance versions for people concerned about size.

Description:

I've been waiting eagerly for the famed aedenthorn to implement the ability to make a custom texture for the Yggdrasil World Tree, and my wait is over.

These textures are pretty big. The texture for the tree itself are 4000 x 6016 and the texture for the "branches" is 2040 x 2905. Overall this texture set is 100mb. Partially this is because of my own lack of expertise in making textures, since this is my first texture mod Ive attempted. I could not get the moss texture to work properly without lots of random white space, even when I had the background set as transparent. I dont know why, but the only fix was to duplicate the MainTex and set it as the MossTex, so this adds about 35mb to the file. If someone has some advice on how to fix this problem, Im all ears.

The emissive color (the energy on the tree) is now set to just green and white. The emissive style (the energy patterns) are changed to fit the contours of the tree texture itself instead of just being lines on the tree. This gives the appearances that the tree itself is glowing from within along its bark/crevasses. If you want the original emissives or are using a texture pack like HD Textures and like theirs, just don't install the emissive texture files and the game will implement the original energy style and colors.

Installation:

Install BepInEx and Custom Textures 1.8.1 or higher. Then just drag and drop the texture files into your "Custom Textures" folder.
