If you've played bloodborne you know what's up. Getting hit by enemies causes the damage taken to be stored up for a short time, dealing damage returns some of the damage taken back.

A rather simple mechanic. As the description says receiving damage doesn't mean you instantly lose it, it is stored as "potential hp" and for a short period of time if you hit back you will be rewarded with some of your lost HP back.
Configurable values include:
percentage of damage taken converted to potential hp
percentage of damage dealt restored from potential hp
time delay until potential hp starts decaying
the rate at which pontential hp decays
To install drop the .dll in the bepinex/plugins folder, config file is in bepinex/config folder.
