It only consists of one zip file with two VRM config files

Behold GUNNAR the young raiding Viking, (A VRM Character Model), The best I have seen so far!
This mod offers ONE custom VRM model for you to play as your VRM character, the default name is Gunnar, but you can change that. This model
was converted from a free resource at Sketchfab.com, credit for the model goes to alihsm ([email protected]), thanks!
Included in this mod is ONE zip file with TWO files: “gunnar.vrm”& “settings_gunnar.txt”
You can rename these two files to match an existing character or to any other name you want to create a character for.
To run VRM models you will need to install the Valheim VRM mod.
Installation:
-Make sure you already have BepInEx installed - (Skip if already accomplished)
-Install Valheim VRM - (Skip if already accomplished)
- Extract both of the files in the zip into your “ValheimVRM” folder (created in the Valheim VRM install)
The Valheim VRM mod installation is unnecessarily complex, so try this instead.
1. Download Valheim VRM zip file
2. Copy the two files found in the Valheim VRM zip directory plugins… to your BepInEx\plugins directory.
These files are : ValheimVRM.shaders & ValheimVRM.dll
3. Copy all the files found in zip ValheimVRM valheim_Data_Managed…to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Valheim\valheim_Data\Managed
(overwrite those files)
4. Create a new directory “ValheimVRM” here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Valheim\ValheimVRM
Information: If you play in multiplayer with other VRM capable users, you all may share these two VRM files so that each player
can see each other’s character model. Otherwise nobody will see your new character model but you.
Issues:
1. Nobody that does not also run Valheim VRM will see your character model!
2. What you see is what you get, while you can equip armor and helmets you and nobody else will see them, although they still
provide all the benefits.
3. Some mods that touch character bones etc. will conflict with Valheim VRM.
4. Valheim does not support face animation, so it was open mouth or closed, I liked to see the detail, so it’s open mouth. (Not
an issue for me, but your mileage may vary)
