Slowheim is the result of a completionist run of Valheims first mayor release, completed on the weekend before Home and Hearth was released. When you log on, you will find a large Trophy house at spawn showing off each weapon, tool and armor piece the game offers, upgraded as high as they will go. All the mob trophies the game offers are also on display in a nicely layed out mansion, specifically built as the end piece to a 150 hour run of all six biomes and five bosses.
The Slowheim Challenge: Craft and upgrade every available item in workbenches before killing next boss. Collect all the trophies before killing next boss. No tree or sapling chopping.
Thats right; No trees in this map were cut down by a viking. Some of the wood was either collected from the ground, chopping at moldy stumps or by taking down existing buildings. But mostly I became a trollmancer, using them to take down trees in meadows, the forest or in the plains. Fine wood was the hardest to obtain in bulk, tho oak trees provide a nice source, if you can get a troll there.
Once you have explored round the Trophy House, pop through the portal to see the Forest Base, where all the work was done to get through this run of Valheim. The chests are still full, and if you are looking for a specific item, or want to see a world that has not been deforested, pop in and amuse yourself for a bit.
