About this mod

Lets you set multipliers for a whole bunch of ship variables.

This is a simple but powerful mod that lets you tweak most speed and movement aspects for ships. I don't know what half the variables do, and I haven't even built a raft yet, but this was by request, so here you go:

After some testing, I've added some more variables:

"HeadWindDegrees", "Degree difference between heading and wind origin to call headwind"

"TailWindMult", "Tail Wind Multiplier"
"DamageMult", "All Damage Multiplier"

The wind angle factor is how much the wind will propel you forward, and it changes of course depending on how far into the wind you are turned. It goes to 0 normally and stops the ship when you head too far up wind. Set the WindAngleFactorMin to something like 0.5 and you should see better ability to turn into the wind.

To change the multipliers, edit the file BepInEx/config/aedenthorn.ShipSpeed.cfg (created after running the game once with this mod) using a text editor.

You can adjust the config values in-game using the Config Manager.


To install this mod, the easiest way is to just use Vortex, the Nexus Mods mod manager. It should take care of all dependencies.

To install manually, place the dll file in the BepInEx/plugins folder. You will need BepInEx.
