I can definitely relate to that, loosing your HD with all your mod work is really heart breaking! Happened to me when I was modding FNV lost a large amount of scripts and textures I was making.

I am going to keep a watch out for your mod. I was starting to do my own but I will use yours if I like it! The hardest part is getting Unity just to be able to make DLLs. Iron Gate really needs to officially support modding!!!

Yeah, I had a large amount of 3d models, textures etc for Skyrim and FO4. Mostly unreleased. But also all of the work files for my released mods have been lost, and have to be made from scratch if I some day have to tweak / update a mod. I also lost all of my logos and "promotional" stuff for Hvergelmir Mods and Hvergelmir Gaming. I handle it pretty well, until I have a couple of seconds realization on occasion that I also lost this or that in moments I really need it.

There's so far a few texture mods out there for Valheim and unlike Skyrim I might be a little late to the game, but I at least have made a name for myself in the modding community and I can imagine there'll be support for more variety. I also want to stay true to the original textures as much as possible (although at this resolution it's pretty much guess work). What I've seen so far didn't appeal to me personally.

Currently the only modding tools for Valheim I'm working with is UnityEX, which sometimes is a bit frustrating to work with, but it gets the job done. The workflow is very different from what I do for Bethesda games however, and I can feel it slows the whole process down quite a bit. Normally I'd use Marmoset Toolbag as a realtime preview tool when I'm painting  / editing textures, but since I'm not quite at the point yet where I've also converted game meshes into something I can work with, I'm doing the "noob" approach. It does the job,
