Pieces of 8-Bit breathes new life into retro video game music. I am dedicated to faithfully restoring retro video game music for your enjoyment, for educational purposes, and for posterity. I am passionate about retro gaming because I lived it, and the songs I hummed along to as I played became the reason I am a musician today. My focus is on games from the late 70s to the late 90s. I try to keep things as accurate to the original as possible, with the aim of remaking the soundtrack in the way I believe the original composer would have done it if they had the technology of today.

--- - Extract the ZIP file
--- - Download this mod (Ultima Underworld Unity Music) and extract folder "UW1music"
--- - Go inside the "UnderworldExporter" folder and open 'config.ini' in an editor.
Under ";Path Options" put the complete path to your original Ultima Underworld: The Stygian Abyss files next to "Path_UW1=".
E.g.: "Path_UW1=E:\Games\GOG Galaxy\Ultima Underworld\game\UW\"
(If you are using the GOG.com version extract the "game.gog" to a new folder and point to that instead. See readme of "UnderworldExporter".)
Under ";Music" put the complete path to the "UW1music" folder next to "UW1_Soundbank="
E.g.: "UW1_Soundbank=E:\Games\UWE\UW1music\"
--- - Use "Underworld Exporter.exe" to start the game
