"The year 1973 marked the beginning of the one-two combination of Blaxploitation and Kung Fu. Giving birth to Jim Kelly in Enter Dragon set the blueprint for the Afro'd Black Martial Artist archetype. Fast forward to present day and we can see many examples of this type across Film, TV and written media ( Parody or Dramatic Adaptation.) This skin for Iron Fist is an original character that pays homage to those Martial Arts Masters."
"Modern examples include Black Dynamite, Bushido Brown, Afro Fist (Afro Kung Fu)"
