About this mod

Set max number of patients, janitor maintenance level thresholds, improved random qualificationns and traits, unstaffed room queue priority, and ask patients to try andd respect queue length warnings.

MoreInPatientsPlease exposes the following settings which are saved in a cache for future play:

  • Max number of patients allowed at the hospital (default:250, new default: 300). 
  • Janitors will start repairing machines and unclog toilets when maintenance threshold <= x% (min:20, max:80) (default:50, new default: 60). 
  • Patients will queue empty rooms even if unstaffed (this will trigger idle workers to go to the room much faster)
  • Patients de-prioritize queues that go above the queue warning length (normally just visual; this setting makes patients less likely to choose those queues based on the configured queue size warning length)
  • Applicants have less/more qualifications based on hospital level (this affects the number of slots, with low level hospitals having more juniors and high level hospitals having more seniors)
  • Applicants have better/worse traits based on hospital reputation (this makes traits worse when hospital reputation is less than 20%, and much better when above 80%)
  • Applicants are more likely to be specialized in one field rather than all over the place (see images)


Please consider:

I've tested up to 500 patients at once before my PC started to slow down. Be careful.
If you process patients faster than they come in, you'll never be able to reach the maximum.

Be sure that you have enough staff for all rooms if you enable "Patients will queue empty rooms even if unstaffed"
