I've uploaded this to the Nexus for one very simple reason - the Steam Workshop frustrates the hell out of me. Every time I tried to publish this mod there, it either put up a blank mod file, or a mod file of the proper file size that didn't work, and Steam doesn't allow manual uploading of files so I couldn't upload the one that does work. That one being this one. I'm sure that given enough time, I could sort out the issues on the Workshop, buuuuut... I'm not going to. The last time I worked on this mod was the tail end of April, 2015. It's pretty much done as far as I'm concerned. On that note, I'm fairly certain this is bug-free, but if there are bugs, I will not be fixing them. I realize that it's somewhat bad form to release a mod already "abandoned", but it's been over a year and a half since I put it together in GUTS, and I neither remember how to do anything in it nor have the desire to re-learn.

Now, on to the nitty gritty.

This character initially started out with the general theme of being a paladin type class, with a focus on high defense, two-handed weaponry, and a fairly large amount of passive or hands-off skills. During the development, however, I noticed that I was 'borrowing' [more on that later] skills that lent themselves thematically more towards a berserker than a paladin. So after some thinking, I decided to make it be a Torchlight 2 equivalent of a Berzerker of Khorne from the Warhammer and Warhammer 40K universes.

As I was new to the editor when I made this mod, all the skills were 'borrowed' from elsewhere within the original game, with some modifications along the way. Some skills I just changed the name, description, or weapon-type requirements. Other skills had their damage types changed, bonuses reduced, animations changed, and/or durations increased. And some skills, aside from porting them over from a different class, were left alone. For skills where durations were increased, the original duration allowed for keeping the skill up indefinitely, the duration extension just removed some of the annoyance of doing so.

In terms of balance, well, in my opinion every class either feels overpowered, or is overpowered on Normal or Casual, so all play-testing of this was done on Veteran. It should be balanced for that difficulty, but my play-style - even when I was play-testing and should've used all the skills - tends towards not using very many active skills, so some things might be overpowered. Hopefully not too overpowered though.

Skills 'borrowed' and messed with are as follows, sorted by class of origin [for skill descriptions check the screenshots]:

Embermage:
Blazing Pillar
Immolation Aura
Firestorm
Elemental Attunement
Fire Brand

Berserker:
Battle Rage
Ravage
Blood Hunger
Rampage
Howl
Cold Steel Mastery
Rage Retaliation
Chain Snare
Shred Armour
Red Wolf
Charge Bar [the tooltip on this lies, but it functions like the berserker's, only decays faster]

Outlander:
Dodge Mastery
Poison Burst
Share The wealth [Gives the bonuses it would on the Outlander {intentionally}]

Engineer:
Heavy Lifting
Seismic Slam
Onslaught
Emberquake
Supercharge
Coup de Grace
Bulwark
Aegis of Fate
Shock Grenade
Immobilization Copter [originally wanted it to be a floating skull, so it could be a servitor, but that was just aesthetics, and I'm fine with it as-is]
Gravity Well [this skill was fully fleshed out, but phased out somewhere during development of the game. Probably for being OP, which is why I nerfed it]
