Nicknamed the "Dragon of Dojima", Kiryu was known for his cunning skills and tenacity as he worked through the ranks of Tojo Clan's Dojima Family, though his run-ins with various elements of the Japanese underworld have hampered his efforts to settle down and leave his criminal life as a yakuza behind. He did however found the time to rub elbows with the local skateboarding scene, whose death-defying practice of ollieing over people has been a popular skater's pastime in Japan.
