Tommy Angelo used to be a lowly taxi driver plying by the streets of Depression-era Lost Heaven when he had a chance encounter with gangsters from two rival Mafia families. While he did make a name for himself as a respected and feared mafioso, it did come at the cost of his conscience and well-being, eventually betraying the Salieri family he once looked up to. After going into hiding he decided to take on a career in skateboarding, rivalling the likes of Rodney Mullen for no reason.
