Sami Antero Järvi, better known by his pen name Sam Lake, is a Finnish video game writer and creative director of Remedy Entertainment. He is effectively the face and poster boy of the company, having lent his likeness to the original Max Payne and more recently as Alex Casey in Alan Wake 2, which also served as James McCaffrey's final acting role before passing away in 2023.
