Chunky Pistols release
There are a number of weapon changes I want to make, this will be the place I'll put them all.
Whats here so far:
Chunky Pistols
Made the pistols extra chonky to try and get a little closer to the original in game model silhouette/visual balance. Part of a set of mods I'm working on to this goal.
Less Dorky M16
Changed the proportions of the m16 to get rid of the magazine skew and overly long receiver.
Alternate MP5
Gave the mp5 a straight mag like the original game, whether this was an oversight or they were implying it was a 10mm mp5 idk, but thats what I went with. Lowered the sight a bit and added some more support to it. Enlarged the barrel and grip slightly to match the original more. Painted yellow stripes on the mag as seen on the ammo pickups in the original game. But most importantly, I turned the fire selector switch to the "fun" position
NEW in V2: stock slides shut when holstered, scope and scopeless options, many new details and improvements. Scopeless version sits upright like the shotgun with a sling, scoped version sits like vanilla diagonal across back.
-A sound mod is in optional files to make it sound properly suppressed, and I made the muzzle flash smaller and more smoke like as well. See the video for comparison. It's the firing sound from Socom's mp5sd. This *might* change another sound in the game. Strangely the mp5 sound is 2 sound effects combined, and one of them is an explosion type sound. This doesn't affect the grenade launcher/rocket launcher so I'm not sure what else it could be.
Better Boomstick
This is my first major custom work and I'm pretty proud of it. I spent too long fussing over details that probably don't matter. I even modeled the loading port. I only wanted to jump into traffic at least 5 times UV unwrapping that sling!
Grenade Launcher
Taking inspiration from the TR3 original design and adding my own elements. Model has been entirely made from scratch, judge it lightly I'm not a texture artist lol
---------------------------------------------------------- Install instructions: Choose which weapons you want, each one has its own download, and just merge the numbered folders (1-3) within the zips with your game directory. Make backups beforehand or use a mod manager.
The mp5 files have some named m16, fear not, this is just how the devs named them for some reason.
If using the mp5 sound mod in optionals, it will conflict with any other sound mod that affects TR3's MAIN.SFX file, you'll have to make a merged version. Take files 0080 and 0107 from mine and pack them into whatever sound mod you want to use.

I'm open to suggestions, heres what I currently plan to do: TR3 -Make a new grenade launcher in the style of OG with rotary mag. -remodel rocket launcher. Original sort of looks like early carl gustav but it doesn't have the flared cone at back, also similar to the Law80 but then has vertical grips. Deciding... TR2 -Possibly make new auto pistols model to resemble OG more TR1 -Remake magnums. Not sure the inspiration for these, they don't look much like deagles and TR3 already has a deagle.
