You should probably just edit the new models and add the improved gear on top, so you don't have to fiddle with skin seams, etc. And just use the textures the game provides, that would be a lot easier to install as well.
When you download the mod and unzip it, you get two folders named "4" and "5". Doubleclick the "4" folder, inside that doubleclick the "ITEM" folder. Inside that folder you will see all of the outfit names from Tomb Raider I-II-III. Let's say you want to replace the Classic outfit from TR4 with the Nevada outfit from TR3. The Nevada outfit is named "OUTFIT_NEVADA_TR3.TRM". Change it's name to "OUTFIT_CLASSIC.TRM". Then just drag and drop both the "4" and "5" folders to your game's installation folder (where there already are a "4" and "5" folder). It will then ask you if you want to overwrite existing files. Select yes and you're done.
The only thing this mod can do is rename TR4&5 outfits and not TR1-2-3 outfits. I can only add Nevada outfit to rename classic TR4 and also only add Coast TR3 outfit to rename FMV outfit. I really hope on the next patch they add all TR i-ii-iii outfits by selecting them in gameplay because all outfits have red font it makes me think i have to beat 4-5 and 6 again which i already beat the games.
I love this mod so much. It's really fun to have the Remastered I-III outfits in the second remaster. I did notice some issues with the Nevada and TR3 Home outfit though. There's some weird bug with her skin in the neck / throat area. It's mostly noticeable from the front because the skin on her upper throat doesn't match the skin on her lower throat. It's a line there. It's more noticeable in game than in the pictures.
I took some screenshots to show you the difference.
Love your mod! However, I couldnt add the image on here (Not sure why it wont take but I put the link) it shows some texture issues mainly between the neck and head. Just wanted to make sure youre aware :)
Just rename the file from 1-3 4-5 name..and put all textures into the 4/tex folder! Hands mabe slightly off ..but its hard to tell unless you're actually looking for it..but in Blender i made a lara cat ears mod From darklegendsaod mod! But these model fit in the gloves [the remastered outfits] are aligned
Such a fantastic inclusion! You did really well adapting the outfits to the new body!
Though must say I've noticed that there are many cases of the dreaded clipping when the camera gets far away with a lot of your mods. Now I don't know if it's always consistent, but in experimentation, I've imported models of yours before and seemingly fixed it before. If you reimport the models into Blender, go into Edit Mode, select all the vertices and use Ctrl+N and select Average > Corner Angle, it generally seems to fix that problem. Just be sure to merge all the seams first if you want to do this because it'll make those seams pop. And also deselect areas like the wrist or neck to avoid their seams not blending with the hands.
Once you export it again, it seems to work! I don't know why it's nearly impossible to get some of the clipping to go away on the first export, but reimporting and fixing the normals seems to help. Can't say for sure if it always works, since I've had a few fringe cases that didn't with my own models, but it does work on your models. Holster straps too, shockingly enough!
No problem at all! Glad I could help! Honestly, it's always kind of a safe bet to try reimporting and reexporting if there are odd problems. Sometimes there may still be clipping due to weight painting, but it really does help in troubleshooting when you can tell what's "real" clipping, and what's that weird, mysterious camera based clipping. I still have no idea what's actually causing it, but it does seem to have a bit to do with incorrected normals sometimes, and others, too many weights on some vertexes. When it comes to that, oddly enough, stopping short of having enough weights on a vertex to equal 1.0 sometimes helps. like a total of 0.9 has even stopped distance clipping for me before too!

what are the specific steps
Let me know if you need more help :)
I took some screenshots to show you the difference.
Example 1 - Nevada - Classic - throat / neck area
Example 2 - Nevada - Classic - back of the head /neck

I've always struggled getting the meshes to not clip into eachother, i'm gonna try what you suggested so thanks for that
Omg you are a lifesaver, the reimporting then export really does wonders
I just spend hours trying to make the clipping go away
