~ ~ ~ FISHING MOD FOR TITAN QUEST ANNIVERSARY EDITION ~ ~ ~

This small mod implements fishing mechanic in Titan Quest. I made it mostly for fun, and as a modding experiment.

~ Features ~

- Your character starts with the Fishing Skill by default. To use it, apply the skill to your left or right mouse button and target a Fishing Site.
- Fishing Sites can be found in most water basins throughout the entire game. The first two fishing sites are in the river near your starting location, so you can start fishing right away! If you are unsure where you can find a Fishing Site in the game world, check the mini-map (they display as quest items).
- After a Fishing Site is used (no matter if you catch anything or not) it becomes inactive for 1 minute.
- There are 4 types of fish you can catch: Magical Fish, Rare Fish, Gold Fish and Wish Fish. Most fishes work in similar way to Eternal Embers elixirs.
- Upon eating a Magical or Rare fish will be granted one of 50 random fish enchantments, which lasts 3 minutes. The cooldown of "fish scrolls" is 60 seconds, so you can stack up to 3 fish enchantments at the same time. Rare enchantments are more powerful than Magical ones.
- Gold Fish will give you a lot of gold coins upon use (depending on current difficulty). But the chance to catch it is small, so you have to be patient ;)
- Wish Fish is ultra rare to catch. It will give you a random Electrum Orb from the difficulty it is used on. In addition to that, it reduces stat and level requirements for all items for half an hour.
- Fish enchantments increase in power on Epic and Legendary difficulties. They also have 50% chance to affect the entire party (other players, pets, etc.).
- The Fisherman NPC in Megara now sells Magical and Rare fish, also in his inventory you can preview all Fish Enchantments.
- Beware, one of the Fish Enchantments is negative, the dreaded Pandora Hexfish! But the chance to get that enchantment is small, so don't worry too much about it.

~ Installation ~

1. Drop the "fishingmod" folder in the place where you install GoG mods, usually located in ".../Documents/My Games/Titan
Quest - Immortal Throne/CustomMaps" folder. If you don't have a CustomMaps folder in that directory, create it manually.
2. Launch the game and go to "Play Custom Quest", then pick the mod's name from the list. It will bounce to the main menu, where you can pick an existing character or create a new one.
3. Have fun!

If you DON'T want the mod to bounce:
1. Inside the "fishing mod" folder, go to "resources" folder and delete "Maps.arc".
2. That's all, the mod will now play only from Custom Quest.
