Version 7.11
- Rebalanced Herbal Remedy from Hunting. It now provides less % Health Regeneration in the beginning but scales up to 100%, making it less overpowered early game and more powerful late game. The poison resistance now scales from 30% to 100% like vanilla, except it scales more linearly.
- Reduced the energy drain on the huge energy drain aura from Draugr Princes in Ragnarok by 50%.
- The armor pieces from The Shade set now only require 50 strength so that casters who want to use the staff don't have to invest in strength to equip the full set.
- Made some minor tweaks to the crab pets from the Atlantis rings.
-
Version 7.10
- The first boss of Atlantis now spawns the unused higher level variant present in the game files. Due to his unconventional spawn method where he rises out of a tomb, it is not possible to spawn several of him, so spawning his slightly stronger variant is the best we can do.
- The crustacean pets from the Atlantis rings have been overhauled with many improvements and are now as tough as they look.
-
Version 7.9
- Awesome Artifacts update:
- The temporary pets from Star of Ishtar and Sigil of Bast now have Aggressive AIs.
- Reduced the run speed bonus on the proc from Crescent Moon of Artemis to +50% speed, but it now ignores the movement speed cap.
-
Version 7.8
- The version of Deathchill Aura provided by The Shade set no longer drains energy and cannot be dispelled. This fixes a bug where it would become permanently disabled.
- Shield of the Shades now has a base block recharge time of 2.0, down from 2.5.
-
Version 7.7
- Updated to the new version of Awesome Artifacts.
- Updated to version 1.2 of Quest Items Resized.
-
Version 7.6
- Improved the 3 Atlantis rings which summon crab pets. The rings now add 12/20/30 pierce damage to pets and the crabs are more tanky so they don't just immediately die.
- Barmanu on Legendary difficulty no longer casts the overpowered old version of the Blizzard ability which covers the whole map.
- Removed the death vortex from Typhon's old death animation for gameplay reasons and performance issues.
-
Version 7.5
- XMAX FTW: Added new "Hardcore" versions of x3 and x5, which have lower XP gain, full resistance penalties on Epic/Legendary difficulty, and full XP penalty on death.
-
Version 7.4
- XMAX FTW: The superbosses who had their loot chests multiplied by your spawn multiplier in the previous update now get +50% loot per spawn instead of +100%.
-
Version 7.3
- Overhauled all 270 boss spawning pools so that they all contain 2 of each level variant to pull from instead of 1 low level, 2 medium level and 2 high level. This means that the strength of bosses will vary more from run to run and their average strength will be normal instead of slightly increased. Fighting multiple bosses was hard enough so there was no need to make it even harder. I also fixed a few bugs in the process.
- XMAX FTW only: The Epic and Legendary-exclusive superbosses that had boss chests instead of loot orbs will now have their loot amount increased by your boss spawn multiplier. This affects Talos, Manticore, Dragon Liche, and Lernean Hydra. It will pay off to farm them on higher spawn multipliers instead of turning it down to x1. I will not implement this change for other boss chests because I think it's appropriate that only act bosses give multiplied loot via loot orbs as well as superbosses and HC dungeon bosses.
-
Version 7.2
- Increased bonus projectile speed for the Nymph to +50%.
- Nature's Wrath now also does base damage equal to the equivalent level of the Nymph's basic attack. Now the ability won't make her weaker for ranger builds, and since your second mastery can buff either elemental or pierce but never both, it will never scale too high.
-
Version 7.1
- Updated to the latest version of Awesome Artifacts.
- The Nymph pet is now on a shorter leash and will be in better range of her targets in Aggressive Mode, and her arrows have an additional +20% projectile speed, giving her less trouble with moving targets.
-
Version 7.0
- New mod added: Quest Items Resized. This mod reduces the inventory size of various quest items, particularly the many ones from Atlantis, and the chaos dungeon keys.
- Rebalanced Storm Nimbus and Heart of Frost so that cold damage is no longer at a disadvantage compared to lightning damage. I released the limiter on Heart of Frost allowing it to reach its programmed ultimate level of 16/12 where it hits +100% cold damage just like Static Charge.
- Added minor changes and fixes.
-
Version 6.16
- Increased the 7 meter range of Sylvan Protection to 9 meters so that the Nymph doesn't cast it while she is out of range. Reduced its damage by 10% to compensate. This change is a buff.
-
Version 6.15
- The "Maul" skill for wolf pets now correctly does base melee damage in addition to the listed bonus damage.
- Reduced the cooldown on Energy Shield and Heat Shield to 4 seconds.
-
Version 6.14
- Added 300 OA/DA to the set bonus on The Shade. Increased resistances to 150%.
- That should do it. I think I'm done updating the set.
-
Version 6.13
- Reduced elemental damage on Staff of the Shades by 30. Added 50 vitality damage.
-
Version 6.12
- Lowered the stat requirements on The Shade set items to 100. You no longer need 500 points in both strength and intelligence to use the armor with the staff.
- Added 50% sleep resistance to the helmet.
-
Version 6.11
- Sihai Longwang now spawns the correct amount of bosses, including high-level variants that went unused.
- It is now easier to reach Surtr's loot orbs in the lava, although it still isn't perfect. It doesn't get any better than this.
- The item set called "The Shade" has been improved significantly. Looks so cool!
- Projectiles from Bow of the Shades, Staff of the Shades and Staff of the Cosmos now pierce through enemies. This is a hidden effect that isn't displayed on the item tooltip.
-
Version 6.10
- Fixed a vanilla bug preventing Fafnir from spawning one of his copies.
- Fixed the Colossal Scorpion not spawning for the quest "A Venom Most Foul". Due to how his spawn pool works and the fact that he drops a loot orb, the amount of boss spawns will vary and now includes champions.
- Replaced the Spellbreaker ability on all Gilded Warlocks in Act 3 with the monster spell "Negative Energy Ray".
- Changed the scaling on Energy Shield's "Reflection" to be more in line with the original version, and it no longer adds stun retaliation.
-
Version 6.9
- Added changes from EE Update #6 from the public beta. Please update your game version with the public beta.
- Updated to the latest version of Awesome Artifacts.
- Nightshade and Toxin Distillation for Envenom Weapon now also increase Instant Poison Damage.
-
Version 6.8
- Added changes from TQ:EE Update #5 from the public beta. Please update your game version with the public beta.
- The loot chest for the Egypt dungeon now drops additional loot depending on your boss multiplier to make it compete with the additional loot orbs you get from killing multiple bosses in the other dungeons.
-
Version 6.7
- Restored Loot Plus drop rates for end of act bosses, which now drop chaos keys that are used to unlock dungeons in the public beta.
- Dungeon bosses now spawn as many copies as intended.
- Feiyi now spawns as many copies as intended.
-
Version 6.6
- Fixed an issue that caused mobs to award less Electrum than normal on the public beta.
- Sihai Longwang now only spawns 1 boss, but is accompanied by champion dragonkin spawns. This prevents a bug where one copy of him would turn invisible and immortal and continue to attack you, and due to how his loot is spawned he would only ever drop 1 loot orb anyway no matter how many copies of him you killed.
-
Version 6.5
- Added changes from the latest public beta.
-
Version 6.4
- Nerfed the energy drain from one of the mummy priest auras even more. It was ridiculously overtuned.
-
Version 6.3
- Increased the range of Taunt to 15 meters and the minimum amount of aggro generated.
- Removed the damage reflection modifier for Tartarus from the pool of available modifiers.
- Greatly nerfed the energy drain on one of the mummy priest auras.
-
Version 6.2
- Added support for Electrum.
-
Version 6.1
- Added changes from the new public beta.
- Made the mummy priest auras a little more interesting than the extremely weak versions from the public beta.
-
Version 6.0
- Updated to the latest version of Loot Plus, which now supports Eternal Embers.
- Updated to the latest version of Awesome Artifacts.
- The Taunt skill now generates more aggro.
- The three auras used by mummy priests in EE no longer add damage reflection. They now increase elemental resist or physical resist by 20%, or give 15-25% lifesteal, respectively. Added 1 second duration to their DoT buffs so that they now work as intended.
- Three out of five of the leveled variants of Gilded Warlocks in Act 3/Olympus can no longer cast Spellbreaker, only the two highest leveled variants. So when a warlock spawns there's a 60% chance that it can't cast it depending on its level.
- Fixed Shrine of Mastery so that it now reduces energy costs by 35% as intended.
- Fixed a handful of bugs.
- Released a version of this mod without Loot Plus except it keeps the improved item rewards from quests.
-
Version 5.4EE-Alpha
- The Gouge skill in Hunting now uses the default attack animation instead of the long one it had which slowed down your attacks and reduced your damage output.
-
Version 5.3EE-Alpha
- Hopefully fixed the vanilla bug that caused a couple of bosses to not spawn as many copies as intended on rare occasions.
-
Version 5.2EE-Alpha
- Fixed the Kool-Aid Demon in Helos provided by the original author of XMAX+.
-
Version 5.1EE-Alpha
- Increased aura buff radius to 20 units.
- Removed "Tartarus - All Hero Pets Allowed" since the modifier has been changed in the latest public beta.
-
Version 5.0EE-Alpha
- Fixed boss pools in EE.
- x1 now awards exp.
- Added changes for EE's Divine artifacts.
- Spirit Ward and Spirit Bane now also affect Ghosts.
- Mandrake now adds bonus damage against Ghosts.
- Decreased exp. reduction on EE starter gear to -10% per piece.
- EE-Alpha version: Loot Plus still hasn't been updated, so loot drops remain unchanged in EE. It will be updated later.
-
Version 4.4
- The reduced Vitality and Bleeding resistance penalties are now applied from the beginning instead of needing to kill the Gargantuan Yeti.
- Changed initial loot tables for the Ancients of Nerthus to use the repeat loot tables on all versions with more than 1 boss spawn. (Getting full boss loot up to 20 times from the minibosses was a bit too much.)
-
Version 4.3
- Improved Divine artifacts, probably for the last time. There were some artifacts which were still worse than the components they were made from, e.g. Poseidon's Net was still worse than Effigy of Skyfire. Now they can finally compete.
-
Version 4.2
- Further improved Divine artifacts. I think they're all in a good spot now.
-
Version 4.1
- Removed the fix for Puncture Shot Arrows because it disabled Chance on Attack skills. The skill cannot be fixed by modders in any way; those who want to use the Hunting mastery should opt out of the beta.
-
Version 4.0
- Merged new version of A Few Bug Fixes 2021. Had to manually select and merge over 2500 files, not doing that again.
- Fixed Puncture Shot Arrows for the 2.10 beta.
- Further improved a couple of Divine Artifacts.
- Champion multiplier now scales with spawn multiplier, starting at 1.5x champions on x2 mode and capping at 3x on XMAX and x5.
- Added x5 version.
- Added x1 version. Fun for the whole family! And sissies.
-
Version 3.3
- Fixed bugged items (for real this time). There could potentially still be some unique items that are bugged in the 2.10 beta, I'm not sure. Let me know if you discover any.
-
Version 3.2
- Fixed certain items bugging out in the inventory when using the 2.10 beta version.
- The Nightmare now gets full benefit from flat pet damage bonuses from gear when it uses its Dream Surge ability. Additionally, the explosion that happens when it dies now has actual effects: It reduces a target's total speed by 30% for 6 seconds and has a 33% chance to either sleep, fear or confuse the target for 4-6 seconds. Basically a much weaker version of Morpheus' Dreamweb proc, just to give it some flavor.
- The Lich now gets full benefit from flat pet damage bonuses from gear when it uses its Soul Blight ability. Additionally, Soul Blight now has a small amount of base elemental/vitality damage, allowing the ability to finish off enemies at low health instead of just reducing their health by another 33%.
- Reason: The Lich and Nightmare are the only pets that don't benefit from flat damage bonuses on their default attacks, and it can't be fixed without giving them completely new attacks that don't use this type of beam which never misses the target, so this solution is better. Note that the Lich's final ability Arcane Blast already benefits from flat damage and can get very strong with the right gear.
-
Version 3.1
- Added x3x1 game mode which is 3x mobs with 1x bosses. I don't encourage playing it since you don't need all this loot and exp to beat just 1 boss, but it's there for people who want it.
- Reduced magic item drop rates from champions (I had made a mistake; this is the drop rate that was intended.)
- Fixed gigantes loot tables.
-
Version 3.0
- Overhauled all Divine Artifacts. They now offer +1 to all skills in the mastery that's the most suited for them, and +2 to the skill that's the most suited for the artifact in that mastery tree. Additionally, the weakest artifacts were buffed a bit.
- Killing the Gargantuan Yeti now also rewards +20% vitality and bleeding resistance on Epic difficulty, and an additional +30% on Legendary difficulty, for a total of 50%. This change is retroactive and was needed because originally, vitality and bleeding resistance would not receive penalties in Epic and Legendary but that was changed in Anniversary Edition even though there isn't enough vitality/bleeding resistance gear to make up for it. With this change you'll end up with -50% instead of -100%, which is a fair middle-ground. People won't be forced to use Apples of Idun just for the vitality resistance anymore.
- All monsters can now drop their monster-specific trash item in white quality instead of grey quality.
- Increased white item drops by roughly 2.5 shitloads. Common mobs will now be fairly stronger.
- Champions can no longer use broken items, and have a higher chance to use magical items.
- Heroes and bosses now have a higher chance to roll 2 affixes on their magical items.
- Updated Loot Plus files to include the new skins for the mermen outside Corinth.
- Increased potion stack size to 100, and scroll stack size to 25.
-
Version 2.8
- Removed the damage reflection aura from the mummies in the Sphinx encounter in Giza.
- Reduced the exp. penalty on death by 20%.
- Reduced exp. rate on x2, x3 and x4 by -5%.
-
Version 2.7
- Increased spawn rates of champions and heroes.
- All aura buffs now have a range of 18 meters (just like Heart of Oak) so that pets are always in range. In making this change, I also made the lifesteal on Trance of Empathy scale with level, up to 4-12%.
-
Version 2.6
- Herbal Remedy now starts with +25% health regeneration and scales up to +80%.
- Reflection now scales better with each point.
-
Version 2.5
- Updated to the latest version of A Few Bug Fixes that's only available on the author's Discord server.
-
Version 2.4
- Added the idle animations for boars back. I thought that the animation that they do when they're standing still was the idle animation, but it's apparently just me who hadn't paid attention to their animations until now. During their standing still animation (which doesn't last long), they now have a chance to use their idle animation where they lower their backs towards the ground as if to protect themselves from a threat they spotted. Sorry for the needless updates.
-
Version 2.3
- Quick fix for the boar idle animations which weren't removed properly.
-
Version 2.2
- Fixed spawning pools for the neanderthal quest minibosses, the Jungle Raptor (The Child and the Raptor quest), and the Stalker in the Woods arachnos.
- Reverted Typhon's death animation as it was too messy with several Typhons dying in a row.
- Removed the strange idle animation for boars.
- The Apples of Idun artifact now has +1 to all skills instead of +1 to skills in Nature Mastery, allowing for more build diversity with its 100% vitality resistance. Note that it has very weak completion bonuses when compared to bonuses like +35% attack speed, so this change will make up for that. Its arcane formula has been changed accordingly to require more fitting components that also make it harder to craft.
-
Version 2.1
- Reduced exp. modifier on x2 from -15% to -10%.
-
Version 2.0
- Merged mod "A Few Bug Fixes And Some More". See the description for details.
-
Version 1.4
- Energy Shield's Reflection now scales in its minimum stun duration. It starts with 5% chance of a 1.0-1.5 second stun, goes up to 15% chance of a 1.3-1.5 second stun at skill level 8/8, and ends with 20% chance of a flat 1.5 second stun at skill level 12/8. This change was made because low stun durations counteract the 50% Slowed Attack Retaliation from Heart of Frost by resetting their attack timer after the short stun ends.
-
Version 1.3
- Rune of Life's movement speed now increases at the same rate as the Strength, which now increases more during Ultimate Levels. Max Level grants 10% Strength and 15% movement speed, while Ultimate Level grants 15% Strength and 20% movement speed.
- Reduced base proc chance on Energy Shield's stun retaliation from Reflection by 5%. Increased stun duration range to 1.0-2.0 seconds.
-
Version 1.2
- Changed scaling on Energy Shield's modifier skill Reflection. It now caps out with 50% chance of 200% damage reflected and 25% chance for 1.0-1.5 second Stun Retaliation.
-
Version 1.1
- Reworked Energy Shield with inspiration from Skill Reworks. It now only protects against Cold and Lightning again up to 85% and adds Defensive Ability, and lasts 2 hours with a 30 second cooldown. Its modifier skill "Reflection" now grants up to 33% chance for 0.5-1.0 seconds of Stun Retaliation, and the Damage Reflection scales to 66% chance of 150% damage reflected.
-
Version 1.0
- Added FPS
- Fixed players
- Optimized bugs
