A word of warning to anyone downloading this mod - It makes S1E2 unplayable. There will be a section where Lee has to fight off a walker on the back of a pickup truck, but this mod removes the opportunity to crawl away from it, locking Lee into an infinite death loop.
Thank you for the warning and the precise description. I can confirm, happened to me too. Also, the lightning effects changed in that scene after reloading upon dying. Maybe it's just this scene that's bugged, but I'll continue with my gameplay using this mod and see if there are any other scenes that it breaks.
I can confirm this is bugged, even if you hold S you will just die automatically. I think it's worth mentioning that the game will auto-save during this fight, so when you die you can simply exit the game and temporarily remove the mod. Once you load back in, you can get through the fight, wait for the next auto-save (I think when you get to the farm) and then restore the mod. You can keep the mod in a folder in Archives to make this easier. So it's not necessarily unplayable and it won't mess up your save; it's a bit of a pain, but I think it's still worth it for the improved lighting!

Don't download this, it is bugged and makes progress impossible in some episodes. Not worth the trouble.
