Drop mod folder to the root of the game folder "steamapps\common\The Thing Remastered\"
Navigate to the game's save folder, paste the following into file explorer: "%homepath%\Saved Games\Nightdive Studios\The Thing"
Open "thingconfig.cfg"
Add the following to the bottom: "ResourceDir" = "Mods".
