About this mod

For creators, a set of LibreOffice Draw templates and a Sims4Studio custom .package for quickly creating new objects.

Changelogs
This is NOT a mod that you install directly into your game, but a series of LibreOffice Draw templates (verified to work with 7.2.0.4 and higher) as well as a special file supporting the MS Windows version of Sims4Studio.

Note: I don't care about the nature of what you make using these templates and no need to ask to publish content using them.

About the templates:

These templates are a series of LibreOffice Draw files to aid creating Sims4 objects. I chose LibreOffice because it's a vector-based program, meaning shapes, SVGs, and text are easily edited. It also lets you replace images in-situ, meaning simply right-click/Replace so you can update the image's content without repositioning / resizing. And finally, You can also house all of your swatches/recolors for a given object in a single file.
For clothing, export each page as PNG with the transparency option selected on the export dialog.

About the Sims4Studio .package file*:

This file supports creating specific Sims4 objects using Sims4Studio on Microsoft Windows. This file does not override any default object.

If you do not use Sims4Studio, you do not need to download this file, but some of my LibreOffice templates (such as the billboard) only make sense to use with objects created with this file. Plenty of templates, such as the book templates, work just fine on default EA Sims4 objects that those templates target.

This file is my "clean" version, meaning it contains nothing from modders other than myself.

Objects created from this Sims4Studio .package have been modified in one or more of the following ways:

1. No debug flag
2. No (or reduced) glare simulating the glassy reflective surfaces of posters and similar objects
3. Fewer raised surfaces (such as carvings in the frames of paintings that would make no sense if using any of my LibreOffice painting templates)
4. The object's mesh (such as for the billboard) has been stripped of certain geometry
5. The object's mesh has been increased in default size (such as for some of the portraits and clutter) and its footprint adjusted (or not).
6. Career achievement locks removed.

------This .package file *DOES NOT* go into your Sims4 mods folder--------

Sims4Studio has its own mods folder, usually located at:  C:\Users\usernamehere\Documents\Sims 4 Studio\Mods

Once you have placed this file in the Mods folder of Sims4Studio:
1. Launch Sims4Studio
2. Click the Object button to create a new standalone recolor
3. Once the object selection window appears, select CUSTOM at the top of the page. This will show all available objects in the file to create a new object from.
4. Create new swatches for the object using your own template or from one I've supplied.

* I don't support the Macintosh version of Sims4Studio.
