**If you use MCCC then you "may" not need this mod.  Deaderpool has implemented an option that allows single instant upgrades within MCCC.  It can be located under MC Tuner > Change Interaction Behavior.  If you don't use MCCC, ignore this message.  If you don't know what MCCC is, then you don't use it.

Note:  Using MCCC's "Allow Instant Upgrades" only allows you to upgrade one single upgrade at a time.  If you wish to use the "instant upgrade" from the Handy trait and upgrade all upgradables at once, then you will still need to use this mod to do so.

This mod changes your Handy trait to use Instant Upgrade from a 24 Sims hour cooldown to no cooldown.

If you have finished the Nerd Brain Aspiration, you gained a trait called Handy.  The Handy trait allows you to upgrade any item with all upgrades and no parts required in just a few Sim minutes (about 10 seconds).  The only down side is that this trait has a 24 Sims hour cooldown.  Meaning you cannot upgrade another item for 24 in-game hours after the previous use.

This mod changes the 24 Sims hour cooldown, to no cooldown.  Meaning you can use Instant Upgrade all you want.  One right after the other.

I did upload other versions for those who don't want to over extend their in-game cheating too much.

**There are items in the game that are upgradable such as Eco Life Style beds, however, those beds are not tagged for Instant Upgrade.  This may be true for other items in the game.  This is not a problem with my mod.  EA didn't include the Instant Upgrade tag to those beds or other items meaning the Instant Upgrade option will not appear on those beds or other items if you have the Handy trait.  Only the "normal" upgrades will be available.  Can I fix this?  Yes.  Will I fix this?  In the future... maybe.   Too lazy right now.  :)

YOU CAN TRY POSTING TO EA ABOUT ITEMS NOT HAVING "INSTANT UPGRADE" WHEN USING THE HANDY TRAIT.  MAYBE ONE DAY... THEY'LL FIX IT.  JUST BE SURE TO TELL THEM THE EXACT ITEM OR THEY'LL NEVER FIND IT.  GOOD LUCK!**

INSTALLATION:
Open the .zip file. Place the mod .package file into your Mods folder. For most users it will be in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods.

Note 1: .package files can be up to five folders deep inside your Mods folder. While .ts4script files can only be up to one folder deep inside your Mods folder.

Note 2:  When adding/updating/deleting mods, always delete your localthumbcache.package file located in your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 folder.
